Prometric avoid people with disabilities to take their tests
Prometric avoid people with disabilities to take their tests. I was granted 50% extra time from TOEFL ETS as I have dyslexia and have to take the TOEFL test in order to get into my dream university. When I had to book the test I was provided with a phone number I had to call. This number was out of function. After trying to call the number for more than 3 weeks, from different phones, from multiple countries, and of course at the opening hours I never came through to the number. A voice always said "this number is out of function, try to call later" Then I started contacting TOEFL who said I had to book my exam through Prometric and they couldn't help. I have now been in contact with Prometric to schedule a test for more than a month and I still don't have a test date. A process that takes people without disabilities 5 minutes... I have now booked a test without compensation for my disabilities. Never have I been treated so rudely and with so little respect and willingness to help.
