I participated in the Project Management Academy PMP exam prep during the week of Feb. 2 at the Rockville Courtyard Marriott under the extraordinary instruction of Gordon Young. Gordon presented us with well laid out slides that were not overwhelming and a great supplement to the PMBOK. The materials were informative (sprinkled with Gordon's humorous methodologies to remember information), and well organized. Gordon has a wonderful and easy going teaching style that puts everyone at ease. Since I had been studying since November and took the test on February 7, this class was perfect for me, as I learned more than a few things, and reinforced existing knowledge. This class was instrumental in my passing the PMP exam. Additionally, the information that Project Management Academy provides on their website (once you register for the boot camp) is impressive. There are instructional videos, a pre-assessment test, mock exams, quizzes, flash cards, etc. Anyone signing up for this boot camp should take advantage of these materials and reading the PMBOK beforehand to ensure a positive and less stressful week!

I took the class in the beginning of December. Our instructor was Susan and she knew the material inside and out and was more than capable of answering every question thrown her way. She also has a cool, dry sense of humor. It was difficult sometimes to get the temperature just right in the room, but other than that, I have no complaints about the Courtyard by Marriott location. Plenty of places nearby to eat at as well. I passed the certification exam on my first attempt, and I will be running some of my employees through this course this year.

The great instruction I received from Project Management Academy's four-day PMP exam prep class established the foundation for becoming certified. My class and the instructor had the perfect balance of presentation, interaction, real world examples and a constant connection of the pieces that make up the PMBOK puzzle. I was able to leverage the knowledge gained from the class along with their online resources to prepare for and successfully pass the PMP exam. I would highly recommend Project Management Academy to meet your needs in preparing for the PMP certification exam.

I took the PMP boot camp class in San Jose on Sep (15-18) 2014 and passed the exam on Nov 26. The class was great, very well organized and led by a very knowledgeable instructor: Jim Park. I liked that Jim prioritized the topics based on the importance for the exam; I used all the resources provided online, video tutorials, mock exams, Q&A and this helped me a lot to understand what the PMI expectations are. I passed the exam from the first try!

I was very nervous going into this process of preparing for the PMP exam. It had been more than 20 years since I had been out of college and really had to study for an exam. The boot camp was the first valuable step; but more valuable was all the study guides and exercises offered by PMA. I used all tools available. I was still nervous and I questioned myself during the actual exam but low and behold, I PASSED (first try)! I have noticed I have actually retained the information to date. I am using PM terms in my job more and sharing the information with team members. I have already recommended PMA to other colleagues that have struggled to pass the exam on their own or through other courses. Thank you PMA

I took the PMA one week class in Fort Worth last year in April. Excellent experience and results. 2 weeks later I passed the PMP exam on the first try. The class taught not only how to take the test but the fundamentals in Project Management. I highly recommend this course.

This was a great course. The instructor was excellent and provided many tips on how to study for the PMP exam. The Project Management Academy study materials are excellent as are their online resources. I passed the exam on my first try. I couldn't have done it without them.

Teacher was excellent and provided helpful tips for the test along the way. There were many in class questions to help understand concepts. With a lot of information to review, this course helped provide tools and understanding to pass the PMP exam.
