I joined the PMP preparation course in March 2013, in Chralotte NC. The material was clear and well organized, the trainer was clear and pragmatic, the strategy to pass this tricky exam very effective. I passed the exam in June 2013, first try

I was familiar with most of the material from management experience. But, I know I would have not passed the test without the material provided by PMA. The instructor was very well organized and did a great job going through all of the material and shared some great techniques to remember it all. I now have my PMP and would recommend the prep course to anyone.

Very satisfied

Great course. Covered a lot of material and the instructor (Gordon) made it fun! I strongly recommend the course when preparing for the PMP Exam.

Jim Stewart was a great teacher. However, for me it was too much information to take in during such a short period of time. I would have done better if it was a 2 hour class once a week for several weeks. However, it was a good overview of the material and I feel confident going into the exam.

I have been in the program management business for years. The most difficult item which I had to finding success in the certification was the academic break-down of the steps in the process. My success in passing the exam was a result of hours of practice problems - probably going through 3,000 problems in the build-up study program that I had laid out. I have suggestions which might enhance the course for individuals such as myself: * Practice Questions - I utilized these as an open book study program (where needed). I would answer a question then immediately view the PMBOK correct answer. I researched any incorrect answers. It would be helpful to have the PEMBOK reference page for the PEMBOK answers; * Practice Questions - I would suggest enhancing this section with the ability of the student to select either global selection or a maximum ( say 50 ) questions per session on a selected Process / Knowledge Area. Many times the q&a would provide 200 questions at a time. I would choose to answer these or just a few of them. * EMV and other calculations. It would be helpful to have a practice question alternative which was specific to formulas and for Critical Path; * Layout of Process / Knowledge grid - the inputs/tools/output line items are critical to the exam and to understanding the questions possible correct answers. I had to create my own grid from the course material for the materials provided were scaled so small that it was not practical for me and my eyesight to utilize.

The PMP materials are hard to absorb at first. I'm glad that I took the class and had all of the online materials to use. There are a lot of online materials that helped move me through the boring PMBOK guide. I didn't "enjoy" the four-hour practice self-tests but they provided the impetus for me to keep studying more and learning the materials. Lisa C.

Amazing , full throttle class but delivered in a sensable flow that makes it easy to understand. Jackie O's secret tips to retaining the information was great. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in passing the certification exam.
