Response to the company: Absolutely! I understand your position, but Benzinga's practices are in my opinion deceptive due to the lack of sufficient notice regarding impending charges especially large ones. Additionally, the chat dialogue I encountered was far from pleasant. When I requested a reversal of a charge made either the same day or the prior day, the response was dismissive at best, stating, something to the fact of "Too bad, that's our policy." Fortunately, I was able to get my refund through a credit card dispute, as such deceptive practices and actions are not permissible in my state. I firmly believe that if your company genuinely aims to be transparent and non-deceptive, it should send notifications well in advance of charging as a courtesy to its "valuable members." Alternatively, when someone requests a refund immediately after being charged because there was extremely short notice, it should be evident that they are either uninterested or unable to afford the service at that time. I sincerely wish Benzinga every success but urge Benzinga not to forget that it's the members that will ultimately decide the fate of Benzinga. Let's see if this review gets taken down too. I have to make sure and watch my email for when they say I'm lying about my experience so I can send my backup on time. Thought this was a place you could go to find honest experiences of people but it seems a bit easy for a business to take down reviews. I mean if they have several people saying the same thing you'd think maybe there is some credence. Watch out for reoccurring charges. If you pay in advance you are apparently in contract for auto-renew, for the rest of your life!! ONLY, if you are month to month can you cancel, otherwise you have to cancel before they renew you. You won't know this until you get the charge on your credit card or happen to see the email in your email box among all your spam emails 5 days before they charge you the non-refundable amount. I have dealt with shady companies before but I really didn't think Benzinga was one of them until now. Honestly, the site is still clunky anyway, the only real benefit is the squawk news feed imo

Numerous bugs! Squawk does not work at all, settings do not stay saved when choosing sources, etc in the news section, most times news articles will not expand when u click on it. That's just what I can remember off of the top of my head after finishing the trial period. Was just very disappointed and decided not to join after the trial.

The news feature and screening was my favorite feature. Although I’m not jumping in to subscribe at this point I feel there’s a very diligent effort to bring important news to the forefront. The squawk feature is interesting but my day shift job didn’t allow me to give it the attention it deserves. I feel that after taking the tutorials and making sure one explores all the product has to offer you can come up with a great plan of action to start each day. I have access to my brokers tools and don’t have time to spend each day due to my schedule at this time, so I did not purchase the product now. I’m more of an options trader and long trader so I’m not sure yet if the tools are best for me. I can see how valuable they would be to someone swing or day trading but, that’s not me at this point. Great product with lots of time spent making it even better… I may jump in one day. I don’t have a negative comment really but if I were a new trader I’d want to find what kinds of style of trader I want to be before I jumped into this. The software is so extensive it could be overwhelming and make everything look like a can’t miss opportunity. Good luck everyone and may the odds be in your favor!!

Once you subscribed there's no easy online link to just click and unsubscribe. After looking everywhere the only way to contact them is through email. I have emailed them so many times to cancel all my subscriptions. Yet this is the 2nd year that they charged me for a renewal. If they don't refund me I'm going to sue them on small claims court.

Lot of good features. Great potential for further improvement and rise up in trader community; But chat rooms are not well developed or organized in a format that could be more useful to traders. I am sure, over time the site will improve by listening to trader input and feedback. Earnings database does not update as soon as earnings are released - this can be potentially done within 1 minute by scanning the earnings release automatically and updating the database automatically within seconds of earnings report release. Lot of ideas in my head, can not write them all down here - Sam.
