This is the first time I've ever ordered online where the merchant calls you to confirm the shipping address. If they don't connect with you you have to call them before they will ship your order. I called three times and left message and finally on the fourth call I received a "human" on the other end. I was then informed the Canon I ordered was manufactured internationally and thus had no warranty (justifying the low price). I was given the option of buying a warranty or I could buy the version that was manufactured in the US at a higher price which comes with a 1 year warranty. The fact I lost 4 shipping days and I needed the camera for a Christmas gift, I succumbed to their ploy and paid $60 more than what was advertised. I will not be a returning customer and caution anyone considering doing business with Primotronix.

Thought I was buying Canon t3I for $509.99 free shipping and ended up paying $689.00 for upgraded battery and cheap bag after 3 weeks of calling to see where my "in stock" camera was. Only after I agreed to upgraded kit did I get camera in 2 days. The upgrade was supposed to net out to $649.00 but then invoice came with shipping and insurance charges. Your typical bait and switch deal and I allowed myself to fall for it. Shame on me, but if anyone buys from these guys, beware. Yes, I consider their tactics as "rude conduct".

So I made an order beginning of Dec. I notice a few days later that they had not taken the payment gut of my account so i called them. Took me three days to finally get through to someone and He says, " oh I can get that right out to you." So I'm waiting a week and still no package. So I call back monday before christmas and now I get, " it's going out today or tomorrow and you will have it before the holidays." Well I got the package friday and it's messed up. I ordered two camera Lens and I only got one. Now there is no time to fix this because they waited so long to ship my stuff. Very piss poor company and won't recommend tthem to anyone. If they don't get back to me tomorrow(sunday Dec 22.) I'm cancelling the order with my credit card. If you(Primotronix) read this you can get ahold of me, if you want to make it right. On Dec 10 I ordered a d5100 camera. Order took 3 days before I saw a status change on website to transferred (what ever that means) Call CS to find out what was going on. They stated that the order was transered to shipping and would be sent with 48 hours. Time passed and no word on shipping .. no status change on web site. Called CS on the 17th was told the order had an upgrade in shipping and would arrive in the 21st. I had also sent an email to CS on the 15th telling them that if the item had not shipped yet to cancel it.. So I could get it locally before christmas. Never heard back from them. On the 21st Instead of the package being delivered I got an email in respose to an email I sent to them requesting the shipping number. I got the number and checked out the tracking... The order was label just been created... Item had not even been picked up yet. Tried to call... they were closed, Looks like item has been shipped..but will not be here in time for christmas.

they charged my card $100 extra without telling me and sent me something different than what i ordered. i called them 7 times and finally they agreed to pick up the wrong order and resend my correct one. it has been taking 21 days so far and it should take another 14 as i have been told.

My experience with Primotronix was disappointing and infuriating. Because of a snafu causing them to lose track of a bunch of orders they did not ship the order. I don’t know when they found out about the problem but they didn't call me. They waited for me to call them. What’s worse is that they didn't have the right attitude towards taking care of the customer. They told me that they would not expedite delivery to ensure Christmas delivery even though the problem was their fault. I had a choice of not getting Christmas delivery, or paying more for shipping, or cancelling my order. I chose to cancel, because the fact that they refused, actually refused, to take care of the customer after making a mistake just infuriated me. They said they said they couldn't ship to me in time for Christmas because they would lose money. so rather than lose a couple bucks and maybe save a customer because of something that was their fault, they chose to get a bad review and I hope lose many customers. In my immediate case I would rather come up with a contingency plan and shop brick and mortar retail than run pay a shipping upgrade, for something that was not my fault, and still run the chance that Primotronix would fail to ship again. At least this way I have 5 days to get a gift. If I paid and they dropped the ball again, I know they wouldn't call me, and I’d be stuck shopping on Christmas Eve. If i were you, i would not trust them to ship at all. Definitely don't rely on them for anything that has any level of time sensitivity. LIKE CHRISTMAS.

I ordered a Nikon D5100 camera and did not receive it for 2 weeks. Called them up 30-40 times without any response and holding on for 15 mins on each call. After waiting for a month, wrote a bad review and immediately got a call from <Name Removed>. He promised to get it delivered soon if I change my review. He apologized and all so I reverted my review and was waiting for the package. It did not come for another week and I called back. This time he was very rude and said he will deliver it in another 11 days. When I complained about the delay, he told me whether I want the order or not and got very rude. I cancelled the order because of following reasons which every customer should keep in mind. 1) I may get the order in 10-12 days or I may not which is highly likely seeing their track record. Again I have to go in the waiting loop, call them up and <Name Removed> acts rude and there is nobody else to answer your calls.Lot of people have complained and he called them up and promised an upgrade and changed their negative reviews to a positive one. That's why you see some positive reviews, but that is after going lot of back and forth with these guys and breaking your head and you are not sure what is the end result. 2) Even if I get my order, if anything goes wrong god save me, these guys won't give a damn about it and I'll be stuck. You'll end up spending more in the longer run. 3) It's mentally taxing and big hassle to deal with such fraud people and your peace of mind is gone. So I recommend that even if people need to spend $100 more from some better site, you get your peace of mind and a much needed decent service when things go bad .

As far as I am concerned, this company does not exist. I ordered a camera, waited for 2 weeks, tried to call but was on hold before I got disconnected. I cancelled the credit card order and tried again - same story. The e-mail verification of either order did not have an order #, and 'order status' on their website showed 'transfered' in each case, though nothing was shipped. Lots of work on my part with canceling credit card payments and waiting on the phone. Not worth the savings!
