It's very difficult for an 87 year old woman to operate. Trying to suck on a filtered straw is very difficult.

Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that! The great news is you don't have to use it as a straw at all, it actually screws right onto any standard plastic water bottle. Just fill the bottle, screw the filter on top, and squeeze. Way easier and no sucking required!

Coming from a military family I was taught to be prepared.its better to have something now and not to be without.you never think of survival tool's until you need the tools.your company said it best.better to be safe than sry.now if you would produce some freeze dried meals,my kit will be completed 😁
