The litter itself is fine and does its job. It does a good job masking odors until the end of the month when you need to change it out. It's not dusty and it's soft. The downside comes from the support. I had asked to delay a shipment due to having a huge surplus, I received an email reply confirming the delay, and they still charged me on the original date. When I reached out to cancel the order, the chat representative left for about five minutes, and my order had been conveniently processed in that time they were gone. Instead of immediately offering a refund, which they should have done, they told me to return the package. I live in a rural area where I don't have easy access to a UPS or FedEx store to return the package. Despite this being PrettyLitter's fault, instead of taking ownership and accountability for their error, they continued to try and make me the one to correct their error. It was only then that the chat representative had offered to delay my next shipment to the date I originally asked for. When I had to explain that I wouldn't need it delayed to that date anymore since I had an extra month of litter coming, I realized they didn't actually care about what they were doing. I gave PrettyLitter multiple opportunities to make it right and just provide the refund. They continued to refuse, but my bank wasn't dealing with it. The moment the charge posted, I disputed it, and the dispute was immediately ruled in my favor. So PrettyLitter lost the litter, my subscription, my money for the order, the dispute fee, but they do get a bad review out of it. Hopefully they'll use this to inform their customer support agents to issue refunds when they're the ones at fault.

Unfortunately, despite having only one cat who weighs under ten pounds, I find that the litter does not control odor for an entire month as advertised. 14 days was my experience. So, I have canceled my subscription.

Purchased a bag of pretty litter, unfortunately before the bag arrived my cat passed from cancer.I had paid for the first bag and some "Free" food they threw in. Well, I cancelled the subscription BEFORE the 2nd bag was shipped, but the charged me $52 for food and the litter and said it was too late to cancel, even though it was not even shipped yet. They keep going around and around about saying I did not cancel and the food is not returnable... NowI am stuck with $52 worth of litter and food and no cats. Customer service is horrible , even though they say they are a family company and want every customer to be happy... bla blabla

Overall the litter from pretty litter and all of the reviews describes something that sounds magical and amazing, however, my experience was the complete opposite about the kitty litter, replaced the old litter, washed out all the boxes and everything so that we would know exactly how it worked. I have one adult female cat and one kitten, the litter itself was said to obliterate cat odor and that is not true. It does clump well and scoop. While it does pretty much handle urine odor however, it tracks everywhere. Anyone who is a cat owner knows cats are such a mess when it comes to the litter box so upon someones suggestion to get pretty litter, stating that it does not track practically whatsoever And obliterate smell I bought it however, I am waiting for my eye doctor to open this morning. Because the cats tracked the litter and got it into the bed every night I shake my sheets just to make sure but this morning I woke up and I had this gritty feeling in my right eye. it is swollen. It is red and it hurts. I have tried flushing it multiple times and the kitty litter is so fine that it is not coming out. I’m 100% positive that’s what’s in my eye. Buyer beware if you had problems with your cats tracking their litter around the house, do not purchase this it is dangerous . I have all the kitty products even the little pad you put down in front of the litter box to catch litter off of their feet. Nothing works! It’s way too fine. Gets everywhere I sweep everything morning afternoon and evening because of this.. sorry guys big thumbs down 👎🏽

This company is lacking good customer service. After sending an email to their email address posted on the website requesting cancellation of the litter, they never responded and insisted on shipping another delivery to my home. I called the company, was not permitted to speak to a supervisor and after speaking to three representatives, they insisted on my mailing the litter back to them for a full refund. My question— why should I have to spend my time doing this when they should have responded to my original email requesting cancellation? And another hour of my time speaking with three representatives and getting a massive headache? STAY AWAY FROM PRETTY LITTER COMPANY.

Automatically billed us for 2 bags of litter and a litter box. Never order this. Some Aaron added these items and billed us. We cancelled our account previously because of shady billing practices. I tried to cancel the order only to be told they can't and we have to wait to ship it back at OUR expense. Stay away from Pretty Litter!

PrettyLitter's ordering system is full of problems starting with the most blatant being the inability to just order something without it being a subscription. They are not a service company. Forcing a subscription rather than making it an option is just bad customer relations for a consumables company. I get it. It is easier for accounting if they are dealing with subscriptions, but they are shooting themselves in the foot because a lot of consumers hate subscriptions that are consumables. I have had nothing but problems trying to order things through their online ordering system and have had to reach out to support multiple times to fix things. I've complained to support multiple times and they always say they'll pass the information along, but the folks in charge obviously don't care enough to make needed changes. All they need to do is add one-time purchases as an option. They don't have to get rid of the subscription option. Just look at Amazon if you need to understand what works. And the fact that both PrettyLitter and PrettyPlease food can be found at retail stores, but this is never mentioned on their website or from any of the support people I spoke to despite mentioning one-time purchases numerous times is kind of telling isn't it. I've canceled all my subscriptions and deleted my account.

I wanted to buy ONE box of litter to try. About 7 months later I realized it was a subscription box. I was being charged but never received the litter since I had moved. Then it took me a while to figure out how to get a hold of customer service.
