Update: What I thought was this company was evidently a catfished copy of their company! I wanted to make this is understood…I do apologize for this error but at the time this was the only option I thought I had… I am currently dealing with a scam using this company to transfer my pet!!! I will never use this company in the future… I didn’t choose it the puppy’s seller did and she is most likely in on the scam… they have overcharged me $1250 for things that only cost maybe at the most $125… claiming I would get a refund… for a pet carrier for a small dog and travel insurance… they wouldn’t communicate any information in the nanny that was going with the dog, a King Charles Spaniel Cavalier, no flight numbers and I had to look those up… now they are claiming the dog suddenly got a neurological issue and couldn’t be sent… they claimed to do everything to take care of the dog… now charging me for medical bills, rabies shots and more! Not a positive interaction at all!

Our puppies arrived covered in urine and feces. Our drivers, Ryan and Sebastian, tried to clean them up with dry shampoo however, the smell indicated that they had probably been sitting in their own filth for days.

I am extremely upset and sad my puppy arrived smelling like she was bathed in urine. They had the nerve to put perfume on top of smell. She was also hungry and thirsty. Not good people! Devin and Beau DO NOT need to be responsible for animals!

My original concern was lack of follow-up and failure to return emails/calls, not assigning medical fault for my puppy’s condition. I purchased the white glove delivery service and later learned my puppy was picked up on Tuesday and delivered on Saturday. This multi-day transport duration — during which puppies remain confined to individual carriers except for care breaks — was not clearly communicated in advance. After delivery, I reached out seeking follow-up regarding potential exposure during transport, specifically so other families could be appropriately informed and aware. I did not receive a response until posting publicly. Had I understood the length and nature of the transport associated with a “white glove” service, I would have made different arrangements. The continued focus on disputing unrelated issues rather than addressing the communication breakdown reinforces the concern raised in my review. INITIAL REVIEW: My dog was picked up from Indiana on Tuesday and delivered to Southern California on a Saturday. Very disappointed with the amount of stress (4 days of travel) inflicted on a 3 month old puppy. Had I known these details, I would have traveled to the dog myself. MOST IMPORTANT PART: My dog arrived and was diagnosed with two parasites within 24 hours of delivery. DUE DILIGENCE: I would like to speak with someone at Pet Premier Transport to ensure other families are aware of potential health risks associated with multi-day transport and That one dog has been confirmed infected during the transport in which their animal(s) were present. I reached out via email to pet premier transport last week and have not heard anything back. RESPONSE TO PPT: There are 24 hours in a day. 78 Hours is just over three days. The dog was in your care on the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and then delivered on the 10th. While it isn’t necessary to argue over hours I’ve noticed a bit of discrepancy in your calculations which a business having operated to 20 years should do better. The ER veterinarian report that is based on the MEDICALLY DIAGNOSED condition of the puppy states that the incubation window was 5-40 days. Given that he went in on the 11th and you picked him up on the 6th this definitely falls within that window. While I do not blame PPT for this condition I am concerned with a few practices: 1. What is the required health report window before transport? 2. Do the Driver’s check dates before accepted the puppy into care? 3. Why wasn’t i notified of the transfer dates, that is how many days it would take to deliver the puppy. 4. Because the dog had a parasite depending on where you stopped for potty breaks it is possible that the dog shed the parasite in multiple areas in the US along the way. I understand that families travel with young children everyday. The only different is, they’re typically with their family and not in cages.

Response: Thank you for your message. Because accuracy matters, I would like to clarify several factual points in your review that are not supported by the information you referenced. You stated that your veterinarian identified an incubation window of 5–40 days. Five days equals 120 hours. As previously noted, your puppy was in our care for far less time—only partial portions of two days. Based on the incubation window provided by your own veterinarian, it would not be medically possible for the puppy to have contracted the parasite while in our care. While you indicated there was nothing to argue about, your review contains implied accusations that are not fact-based. This type of misinformation is damaging, particularly when it contradicts documented timelines and medical definitions. Regarding your questions: • Health certificates: USDA regulations require certificates within 30 days for ground transport and 10 days for air travel. Your puppy’s documentation met these requirements. • Driver verification: Our drivers verify health certificate dates before accepting a puppy. • Length of transport: We were not asked to provide transport duration but would have done so if requested. • Potty breaks and exposure: We do not use public rest stops or parks. Puppies are cared for in play pens with potty pads to eliminate exposure risk. We maintain standards that exceed USDA requirements. Safety is the foundation of our operation. While we sympathize with your situation, we are not responsible for your puppy’s medical condition. Your review does not accurately reflect the care or standards provided, and we stand behind our protocols and professionalism. Dear Mrs. Baker, We did pick your puppy up on Tuesday and completed delivery on Saturday morning. We arrived in your area late Friday evening; however, rather than delivering your puppy late at night, we made the decision to keep him until the following morning so that you and your family could get a full night’s rest and begin your bonding and training experience with your puppy during the day. Your puppy was in our care for approximately 78 hours. The drive time alone—without stopping for fuel, meals, rest, or puppy care—is approximately 33 hours. Even if you had driven yourself without stopping for those necessities, the round trip could not have been completed any faster. Driver and pet safety are our highest priorities. Both our drivers and the puppies require regular stops for meals, rest, and potty breaks. Traveling with a puppy is much like traveling with a child, as they need time to stretch, eat, rest, and be properly cared for throughout the journey. Families travel cross-country with children every day, and this is not considered unsafe or inhumane. For this reason, we feel it is unfair to suggest that your puppy’s transport distance alone constituted neglect or poor treatment. Regarding the parasites noted upon arrival, we provided you with veterinarian-confirmed information explaining that these parasites could not have been transmitted during transport. The incubation period requires approximately one week after exposure before testing positive, and your puppy tested positive within 24 hours of receipt. Additionally, each puppy travels in its own individual, pet-safe travel carrier and is not exposed to other animals at any point during transit. We adhere to very strict safety and hygiene protocols. While we do understand and sympathize with your concern regarding your puppy’s health and your dissatisfaction with the situation, the facts indicate that the cause is unrelated to our transport services. We are confident that your puppy was well cared for at all times and that we provided a safe, professional, and responsible service. Sincerely, Premier Pet Transport

I am the Executive Director of a Rescue in California and I warn people about using transport services that carry many dogs in kennels for long distance. It is very stressful for the dogs especially if they are shy or anxious. An adopter arranged for PPT to pick up one of my rescues in Lake Shasta CA and transport her to Colorado. The dog was kept in a kennel for 48 hours! She urinated and defecated on herself and was terrified. So they took her out 7 MINUTES before their destination to clean her up and the dog slipped out of her harness and got loose. Any experienced handler would use a double leash system - one on Martingale Collar and one on the harness. Evidently they didn't want the adopter to see the condition they would have delivered the dog in. How confounding, unprofessional and absolutely careless. These are experienced handlers? Unfortunately this is not a first with this type of transports. Beware and be careful! There are many reputable, experienced animal transporters out there that will do one dog at a time, giving personal attention. Do your research and contact Rescues for recommendations and referrals. The dog is still loose!

This review is false and defamatory and describes a transport service that was not provided by our company. PPT did not perform the transport referenced, did not have custody of this dog, and was not involved in any aspect of the events alleged. Attributing negligence, loss of an animal, or unprofessional conduct to a company that had no involvement is a serious misrepresentation of facts. We formally request that this review be removed immediately. If it is not taken down, we will pursue all appropriate legal remedies, including action for defamation, to protect our company’s reputation. We take animal welfare, professionalism, and transparency extremely seriously. Publishing false accusations against a business that did not provide the service in question is unacceptable and misleading to the public. This matter requires prompt correction.
