PPI2Pass.comReviews of ppi2pass.com

For me the quiz generator and the homeworks were the most helpful. As the test is digital in my state now the hard copy references were of minimal help and not worth the money especially when I still have to buy digital references so I can practice how I will take the test in the real world. Quiz bank problems should all include references in EVERY solution. It doesn't help me much to just spit a random formula out at me unless I'm going to need to memorize hundreds of formulas... That being said I still appreciated the seemingly endless question bank to practice with. The quiz generator format is superior to the other quiz generators I've tried from the competitor's websites.

Instructor review: I will start with the good first, Art is a great instructor and knows his stuff and was helpful to me.He was very involved and answered questions on the way and was very clear to understand. Class/PPI review:This class might be good for in college students however mediocre for those who have been out of school for quite some time. There is a large amount of things NCEES requires test takers as "general knowledge" and cannot be found in the FE handbook. I would expect a class that is paid for to identify these critical things and to have handouts/study guides with this information, per lecture/or topic, especially for the price. Also the mathematics and statistics have a generic lecture not a live lecture which is probably the hardest topics for those again out of school, not doing differential equations for a living. There also was problems with the website where they had said all work would be erased prior to a date when the website renews and a new platform of the website was released but then on the receipt for when classes start was a week off .I am also interested to see if the guaranteed pass or a retake class holds true. It is required you get a 75% or higher on all quizzes and leave a review.

Overall the online course was very helpful. The quiz and practice tests level of difficulty is much higher than the actual exam. While this may be great to over prepare you for the exam. It doesn’t provide an accurate level of how the actual exam will be compared to the practice exam from NCEES.

It is my honest opinion that the instructor for this online live course, Gregg, was not prepared for this type of teaching environment. He was not well versed in his talking and explaining of concepts and topics, and he was not able to visually annotate or offer helping instructions on how to understand and solve the problems. Had it not been for the pre-recorded videos on the same topics by Dr. Kim that were available in the learning library, I would have done very poorly in this class. Dr. Kim's videos were absolutely phenomenal and they help me so much more than the live instruction. If I ever pay for another PPI course, I will make sure to never take one with Gregg, and instead take one with Dr. Kim.

Honestly the instructor was not very good. I lost a lot of valuable time because I kept giving the instructor more chance to get better but it never happened. It was very frustrating because she did not follow the schedule or the provided slides and would make up her own things that she valued when it wasn’t important. The only way I was able to finish the class were the videos of past lectures over the same topics taught by Quin. He is a much better instructor and will actually help his students. This made it difficult because I was not able to ask any questions because the videos are prerecorded. This left me on my own for any questions that I had.

Early on the instructor’s audio would cut out a lot. I counted over two dozen times on the one session. It seemed like we were half way through when his audio problems were no longer a problem. He opens the class with jokes, however when fallen behind jokes should have been shelved until we were able to get caught up. There are a lot of typos and formatting errors that have impact on the problem statement on the lecture slides. Overall, I was not impressed. I would not recommend this coursework with this particular instructor. I’m sure he’s a nice guy and it’s obvious he knows his stuff, but he gave no instruction on using the calculator. Why even put that into the bundle if we aren’t shown how to solve problems using it? Understood that not every question can be using the functions of the calculator, but whenever it can it should be utilized. Lots of unnecessary hand calculations, some lengthy and prone for mistakes, that could have been easily done using fictions of the calculator - determinants, limits, arithmetic and geometric means immediately come to mind. I’m sure there are other types of questions that could have been solved quicker using the calculator.

It's okay - good for practice questions. But not a great prep strategy. With the price almost doubling in 2022, it's really not worth it now.

Live lecture was good and teacher was awesome but the pass guarentee is kind of bogus. All it is is you get 3 months free of on demand which isn’t even enough time to study again and take the test a second time. Should be longer for the money you pay and supposedly “pass guarentee” in which that’s not true…
