Don't use this site as a refresher or mini tool. I got the one-month package to try and just help out before a test (recommended over 200 hours in the course in a month!), and most of the material isn't explained through or in the problems. They explain very basic theory and then throw problems at you with only the right answer. There is no connection or lines to be drawn. Some of the problems do have this explanation, but I would say this is less than 15%. Many just referred to formulas that weren't actually in the given reading or video lectures that the course must have just assumed you knew somehow. Not to mention, there is no way to reset the problem or pull up a new one if you get it wrong unless you exit the course and go to the test bank, which then just throws problems at you with no context. You are basically teaching yourself with practice problems and basic theory. I can't speak for the live courses, but the video lectures were just recordings of the classes, and it didn't seem like those instructors were too keen on answering questions either.

I have use PPI2Pass three times to help me with my exam and the practice questions are significantly more difficult than the ones on the exam. The practice questions do provide thorough explanations but I did not find that the resources are tailored to the exam.

The review course exaggerated some topics that were not included in the NCEES outline nor where asked on the exam. The CERM was a gigantic waste of money and greatly overwhelms the user when flipping through pages of irrelevant information. The only beneficial feature of the online review course is the practice problem/quiz generator.

Writing interface must improve; instructor was struggling to write on the screen. I believe the instructor was using an application like paint to write out the problems. It was a very slow and annoying process and makes the experience unattractive.

The print materials were helpful. Our employee did not enjoy the live lecture series. They stated that the instructor basically just read slides and had a very monotone voice. They found it hard to follow along but felt the material provided during the lectures was worth the value.

The course wasn’t updated with the new computer based exam. Customer Service is poor! They have tons of examples on the online version which is good. I am still unsure of wether they are relevant or in the same level of difficulty.

Most of the material studied for the PA exam ARE boards comprised but the smallest part of the test! Generally the material isToo wordy, too haughty, and does not reflect the actual knowledge an architect relies on in daily practice - and perhaps just as importantly, assumes that the architect should rely on her knowledge about certain technical facts, when to the contrary, she should solicit the knowledge of the respective experts for a host of reasons - Also does practically nothing to prepare for the case studies - did not reflect the actual reference materials presented for any of the three I took. Painfully expensive because it can not be trusted!

CA Survey was okay, disappointed that the online tests were the same as physical tests provided. CA Seismic was nearly useless. Types of questions were not even similar to the exam. I felt like my money was stolen because the prep was SO different than the exam. Lectures weren't detailed enough to help with the exam. I took the exams in Q1 2022. Feels like PPI2Pass is out of touch with the current exams.
