EE Power PE Prep: terrible communication from PPI, no tech support
(Edit: 6/14/2022. One more star removed for continued poor communication. Two weeks ago, Emily replied stating that a senior representative would contact me, which has not occurred.) I took the Electrical Power Engineering PE Prep course in Spring 2022. While the instructor was organized, knowledgeable, and well-spoken, I am rating this course 2/5 stars due to consistently poor communication from Kaplan/PPI staff. I chose Kaplan/PPI because they claimed to offer a live remote course to start at 5pm PST. The course time was changed to 4pm PST without notice just prior to the first lecture. The representatives I communicated with were unable to explain to me why the course time was changed or why no notice was given. They also refused to allow me to reschedule the class to a future semester. As I am working full time in a demanding engineering role, I was unable to attend many of the lectures due to the earlier than promised time slot. The sessions I was free to attend were affected by frequent technical issues on Kaplan's end. None of my requests to Kaplan/PPI for tech support were ever addressed. This was an extremely poor use of >$2k, and I would not consider doing business with this company in the future.
