i purchased a pressurewasher and was told by the company to put the wrong oil in. after it lost pressure i was told that they would not replace it due to the fact it was over 30 days, it sat in a box for the first month so i could find the right oil. when the company told me what kind i thought i was good to go, until the engine and pump overheated due to it having the wrong oil. its clear that the people working there do not have any knowledge of the products they sell because if they did i would not have been told to put the wrong oil in this machine.

I purchased a PowerSmart 40volt brush cutter. Only works for one minute and needs to charge again. ZERO help from PowerSmart warrantee due to my receipt is a Lowes order confirmation and it prints on 2 pages instead of one. Pictures of unit with ss number tag and Lowes receipt are not acceptable. Don't waist time and a lot of money on anything power dumb

Powersmart is complete trash they are telling me they won't warranty my mower because they don't have the part. It's just a simple recoil starter. They rarely respond CLARA!!! who I have message is extremely lazy and doesn't not care in the least .. powersmart ??? More like lazydumb and dishonest.. update 8/5/2025 the response on here is BS..Its just a response to try and make them look better still no help stay away from these powersmart products..New update for 8/13/2025..So now that they can't get the part they are offering me a 50% refund and are canceling my warranty completely. After a week of trying to get Clara to do the refund I get a message saying its going to take a month at this point im pretty sure im getting nothing. Ill just paste the email on here so all can read it themselves. No one would help the whole process was difficult and time consuming and ended up buying a 9.00 part with was to sent to me after I bought a brand new mower that was broken during packaging not shipping, this is a scam and a disgrace to a USA company!

The customer service is POOR! I am still waiting on a lawnmower that was to be here on July 5th with NO TRACKING INFORMATION! I called and was on hold for 30 minutes, and then sent to a voicemail that hung up on me. If I could give it no stars, I would. They tell me their hours of operation (due to the time difference) are 9 pm to 5 am. WTH? I will be stopping the payment with my bank and following up with the fraud department.

I bought a 22'' 200cc Gas Self-propelled Lawn Mower PSM2022 for $369.99 in June 2023. Within 5 min of using it on low height grass, the side discharge chute broke off. This 'part' is not replaceable -- it's machined on the frame. Instructions even confirm that. I tried to call the company 10 times then and 2 times just now (June 19 2025) for another problem because I can't afford to buy another mower at this time. My neighbor helped me make the mower usable last time by taping the chute and using a clothes hanger to keep the mower going. This problem requires a new started assembly and parts are ONLY available from PowerSmart, according to the company I tried to get fix it. Each time I've called PowerSmart, however, then and now, I'm disconnected. I followed all requirements for requesting a place to take the mower for repair since the part/s are machined on. Each time, I either received no answer or was sent a part that is NOT the one needed. I tried to get info to replace the machine from company and was never answered about that request either. I ended up reported the company to the Better Business Bureau and they agreed with my claim. PowerSmart never even followed through with a call back to them either. BBB posted my complaint. This company is a scam -- they've taken my money and left me empty handed and angry.

We sent a review in on the Powersmart 170cc mower on May 30,2025 listing the multitude of problems we have had with this product and that there has been no effort by their customer service group to rectify any of the problems or to even try to help us out with any of the problems. Unfortunately today another of the mowers wheels fell off as they are only very weak plastic. We have "Jerry Rigged" this two year old mower to keep it going by buying after market parts and making those work. We notice in our area that there are four identical mowers on "Facebook Market Place" trying to sell them as the product has many issues with quality. Good luck in even trying to get in touch with customer service -- Long wait times on the phone. Be very wary if considering this mower.

I ordered the wrong part for my lawnmower, a 7" wheel instead of an 8". So the same day I received it, and it was obviously unused, I called powersmart to facilitate the return but there was a ridiculous wait to speak to someone, so I sent an email. The response I got was, "you can send it back and pay the postage, which was exactly the same price the part was, or I can write a 5 star review and receive a 20$ refund". I can see why they gave that option, because even after I lied and gave a 5 star review I received no refund! Great business model, make cheap plastic parts that break easily, then make it difficult to return them. And even worse, because this company can't get good reviews on their own, they trick customers into lying and giving a positive review! My business will be going to another company in the future and I'd advise whomever reads this to do the same!
