I originally was looking for a webcam that was intended to be connected to an old eMac about three years ago now, when I landed on Powermax's website. I poked around on the site a bit, and was surprised to see a company with such a sense of humor. Upon further digging, I saw the honest side of Powermax. I decided to place my order. When I got the item, it was not compatible with my eMac so I returned it. There were no questions asked. Some time later, while I was in college, I decided to contact them again, this time in the market for a MacBook Air. I was surprised how the last person I had spoken with concerning the return of the webcam was right there to assist me in the purchase, and it arrived in pristine condition! Eventually, the MacBook Air no longer suited my needs, and I sold it. But, I did not hesitate in calling Heidi to discuss the purchase of the iMac in which I'm typing this review on. I HAVE, and I WILL CONTINUE to recommend Powermax to anyone in the market for a Mac.

This is the 3rd time i've ordered from Powermax. They took care of me in a timely manner and mailing was quick. Last order was delivered 2 days after initial order with only one correction on address. And the 'Big Monkey' ( Max ) is cool too.

I've been buying Mac hardware/software from PowerMax for over a decade... way over a decade, as I come to think about it. Good people. Good prices. Please don't change.

I received useful, informative and relevant advice from customer service representatives about my purchase. once my purchase was made, service was fast and reliable.

After a discussion of my needs on a Wednesday morning with Heidi and Ashley I decided to get a 16GB 15" MacBook Pro with Retina display but they did not have it in stock and I needed it by Friday. By 1pm Wednesday they had sourced what I needed from one of their distributors. I ordered the laptop somewhere between 1 to 2pm. They said it would be shipped from Dallas. I had the laptop delivered and in my hands Thursday at 9:30am! That's incredible service!

As I have done so many times, I called Powermax the minute they opened on a Monday with a Mac emergency*. Maiya hooked me right up and even suggested that I add the prepaid repair/replacement option later, when I had more time. And she hardly even laughed at me! *Long story short, the 2011 Mac Mini was not intended to be used in a game of rugby. Longer: 8ft USB mouse cord (bluetooth was out of batteries and it was too much trouble to get up and find some). Great Dane responded to a call for backup from the 11 pound poodle and caught the cord, pulling Mini through the XXL giant breed dog door, wrapped around her neck. Running backup to the cloud has never been such a good idea.

I talked to salesmen Joe over the phone and told him I needed a laptop that could handle my new camera and CS4. He set me up with the perfect machine in a professional and friendly, down-to-earth way. Even though I am not far from Portland, in Seattle, I was still impressed that the computer arrived the next day! I put in the order about 30 minutes before closing time the night before and they had to install extra RAM and check it before packing and shipping! VERY IMPRESSED overall. Highly recommended.
