PowerMax goes the 'extra distance' to make sure the purchaser's buying and using experience is top-knotch. I am a Canadian who has dealt with PowerMax now for three years and two computers. No matter my concerns, the experts at PowerMax have helped me out of several situations; total loss of power when a cat chewed a cord, transferring info from one computer to another and wiping personal info from a trade-in. I have no reservations about recommending this company and their staff for your Apple purchases, questions and concerns.

I have purchased from PowerMax in the past and recommend them to all my friends. I recently purchased a Used MacBook Pro, iPad, and iPod and I so far, I am stoked (as we say in Southern California) with them! ( I was upgrading from my beloved Powerbook G4!) The staff is GREAT! Dennis is very knowledgeable and helpful and deserves a raise! HAHA I'm very knowledgeable about Macs and I had tech questions. I can only imagine what he deals with on the average day with people who are clueless! LOL Maiya is friendly and personable. She even clicked through to my website listed in my signature line and connected with me about my business! I felt like I had made a new friend! And finally, one morning I called up there very early and a salesman answered the phone. Although the rest of your crew wasn't in yet, he stayed on the phone with me and made sure someone called me back. THAT is a CLASS ACT!!! Keep it up and I'm a customer for life!!!! I'm glad to see a company making good use of older yet very viable technology. Not everyone can afford a new computer to stay in touch even though the big retailers think so. The quality of the computers is very good, well checked out and very reasonably priced. My experience, has been that they stood behind their products and when things have gone wrong as they will from time to time, they have made it better than right. I would recommend them to any buyer. Keep up the good work Powermax.

This was my fourth experience purchasing a computer from Powermax. I had great experiences every time I called, not knowing quite what I was looking for. My sales person (Joe-all four times), helped my navigate my options, based on my budget and what I was looking for, and did not attempt to talk me up to a computer I could not afford. Great sales people and great products.

I've been doing business with Powermax for about 10 years. I recently purchased a used iPad for them. They emailed the day after i placed order to tell me they only had one in blackened not white. no problem. The iPad arrived in great condition a few days later. I've had no problems with the iPad or any other computer that i have purchased. I just love the the trade in option. I have reffered Powermax to lots of friends and will continue to do so. Four years ago I bought my first reconditioned Apple laptop from Powermax and was helped by Heidi. I ended up trading in two which were not really powerful enough for my needs, and got a Macbook which I am still using. When it came time to replace the battery, I ordered from Powermax again with confidence. I didn't know that it was a special order and would take several weeks to get. I was called personally by, to my surprise and pleasure, Heidi! who discussed my needs and explored options, finding a suitable replacement that would come more quickly and actually cost less. I am incredibly impressed with their CS ethic, knowledge, and responsiveness. And in this day and age of job hopping, having a product specialist who is still with the same company 4 years later speaks volumes. When it is time to replace my Macbook, I know just where to go!

I have bought my last three computers and now an ipod from PowerMax. Everyone one of them has been used/reconditioned and I've never had even the slightest problem with them. They cost about 25% of new and last forever.
