About PowerBlock

PowerBlock, Inc. was founded in 1991 by specialty fitness equipment designers who became friends while designing equipment for several companies including Parabody and Cybex. While searching for specific needs in the fitness industry, they were drawn to the large amounts of dumbbells they would encounter in the specialty fitness stores they visited. There had to be a better way of providing fitness enthusiasts with the performance advantage of hand weights without the space and restrictions of old fashioned racks and dumbbells. It was here the idea for PowerBlock was born. After two years of extensive testing, PowerBlock began sales of the newly coined "selectorized dumbbell". Since then, PowerBlock has continued to be the leader in the fitness industry as we constantly strive to out do ourselves in the pursuit of excellence.

I have two sets of power blocks with the bench the stand and many accessories it's simply the best of the best and worth every penny

Excellent prodcuts, excellent people, excellent service!
I recently ordered new powerblocks for one of my sons; I received an email to verify this, as it was being shipped to my son's address in another state. When they heard it was my son's birthday the following week, they walked the order to the shipping department, and my son received the powerblocks on his Birthday the following week! Then I received a shirt from them in the mail the same week. Their products are great (I have three sets personally), and the are great to deal with.

PowerBlock Returns
My son has the Power Block Weights which he loves. We tried to buy him the EZ Curling Bar. Unfortunately we didn't catch it worked with all but his model so we had to return it. Watch extremely close when you are ordering from Power Block. They make you pay the shipping for all returns. We paid $21 shipping to receive the Curling Bar and another $25 to return it to them. Although they processed the refund of the $129 actual cost of the Curling Bar quickly, we have nothing to show for the $46 spent in shipping costs.

I love this company and their product!
I have the powerblock 9.0 sport with 3 stage ad ons and powerblock stand, and they are excellent. However, I had stored the powerblocks in a stupidly hot conservatory - it can get up to 45c in the UK summer heat, and unfortunately the decals/labels had started to peel. I contacted powerblock customer support and they responded immediately and said they had dispatched a new set of decals in the post. Truly an A+ company and I would never hesitate to recommend them. Thank you powerblock!
