Ordered in November, Pottery Barn then cancelled after a week saying they cannot ship to UK anymore. Over 8 weeks later they take the payment from our account after no correspondence. They are without doubt the most disorganised and badly run company I've ever dealt with. Customer service is rude and unhelpful. Spent an hour on the phone to just ensure the money is returned. STAY AWAY from this shambles

They canceled my first order. Then I called to reorder and they charged me $600 more for the same item! I told the rep, her name was Lisa, that this item had a Black Friday discount. Her reply. “That was then. Today there’s no discount.” I went on the website and surprise, surprise. The Black Friday discount was still being advertised. Shipping was $149 previously. This time it’s $249. What in the world? Did the box get heavier? And it’s still on backorder. They keep changing the date. First it was one month. Now it’s two months. My grand daughter has been born and doesn’t have a crib! My experience with customer service was horrible! I have never in my life experienced such a thing. Usually, you get what you pay for. I paid $1200 for a crib but I could’ve gotten better service at Walmart. Pottery Barn Kids, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Is anyone even reading the reviews at your company?

I bought an overpriced personalized measuring chart and the measurements are off. Embarrassing

Ordered a baby blanket over a week ago, said it was in stock and paid £8 for delivery. Order has been on Pending Fulfillment all this time, called today and was told it was on back order! No contact from them to state this, no update on the status of the order and no date when it will be in stock. Customer service is really not great with this company, ended up cancelling the order and will not bother with them in future.

Placed an expensive order a few weeks ago and have not yet received. Prices went down and called in. Was on the phone for 45 min and they will not adjust prices. If I return, they said they will not refund the shipping and will charge me shipping again for a new order. Coupons are misleading and it seems like they are playing games. I learned my lesson and will never shop here again. Better to go to an honest store that has good customer service.

I bought a backpack for my daughter and it had the wrong name and it was crooked personalization. Was told a new one was on the way. A week later I called and found out that I had to send back the old one first. Went to UPS and sent it back. Two weeks later and no backpack I called and found out that it was no longer available so they sent out a merchandise card for the refund. Total waste of time!! Never will shop there again.

I purchased 2 lunchboxes, 2 mini-backpacks and 2 large backpacks for my grandsons. Most pieces came out ok, but the large transportation backpack with my grandsons name, LOGAN, was unable to read. It was navy lettering was on the navy truck. They said it was random where the name is placed so, maybe it could be between the rows (which would have been great!) or 'sorry you can't read it' was the response when I said I couldn't read the lettering. They are unable to do it correctly! I never heard of personalizing something and having no control of the placement. They did refund my $, but now I have the other 2 pieces without the matching backpack. Their customer service is less than stellar. They told me repeatedly that quality control would call me to resolve the issue....still waiting for the call! I am done with them.... Bottom line, lousy customer service and a disappointed child.

Repeat customer who has now had two poor experiences with Pottery Barn. I will say that the staff at our local store is professional and friendly, but once the order is placed, their system breaks down. Poorly trained customer service reps who do not appear to care about customers, other then ending the phone conversation, and they do not seem to be trained in customer service and have information regarding the status of an order. I was told that the “vendor” is responsible for the order and that customer service is unable to track my order. I was then told on my 3rd call that I can expect an e-mail follow-up in 24-48 hours. Almost 3 days later, I have heard nothing. I got so frustrated with the process, I e-mailed the CEO, Laura Alber yesterday, and it has now been 30 hours, and no response. That about says it all for this company. I assume Ms. Alber has an Administrative Assistant that at least could have responded.
