“Years of marketing experience,” yet…
“Years of marketing experience,” yet now I’m being told the results can vary because of my audience, competition, and market conditions. Isn’t understanding the audience, competition, and market conditions exactly what I hired a professional marketing company to help with? Before the campaign, I was told I could expect approximately a 1–4% response rate from the 2,000 postcards, along with the additional social media marketing. After spending approximately $6,000, I received TWO phone calls. That works out to $3,000 per call. Then, when the campaign didn’t perform, the explanations became the economy, the ZIP codes, competition, market conditions, etc. If those factors were so important, why weren’t they properly evaluated before recommending that I spend thousands of dollars on the campaign? For comparison, I have spent approximately $6,000 on Google Ads and generated more than $250,000 in revenue. The difference in ROI isn’t even close. And when I posted about my experience on their Facebook/social media, my comments/posts were removed or I was blocked. Consumers considering this company deserve to hear both the positive AND negative experiences. These are the results of my actual experience: approximately $6,000 spent, 2 phone calls, and no return on my investment. If you’re considering PostcardMania, please do your research, ask detailed questions about expected results, and decide for yourself whether this is where you want to invest your marketing dollars.
