Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The ship was "as advertised" (a working nuclear icebreaker), not cushy at all but quite comfortable. The food seemed a bit heavy for my taste (this is not a complaint - no one else seemed to mind). The views matched the brochures and you can't ask for much more than that.

Das Expeditionsteam bekommt von mir 5 Sterne. Dabei kommt Jan Bryde eine entscheidende Rolle zu. Er vermag sein Team zu führen und zu motivieren; einfach klasse. Der Grund, aus dem ich dennoch nur 4 Sterne zu vergeben vermag, liegt beim Sales/Back-Office, also der Administration des Poseidon Büros Hamburg, das aus meiner Sicht durchaus Verbesserungspotential aufweist.

Die Reise mit der "Sea Spirit" vom 30.5. bis 6.6.2018 nach Westgrönland hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Unsere Vorstellungen von der Geographie der Insel und den äußeren Bedingungen für Mensch und Tier haben wir nennenswert revidiert. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, die persönliche Stimmung an Bord war für uns hervorragend, angefangen von dem "Zimmermädchen" Carlos über die Verpflegungs- und Bedienungsmannschaft bis zu dem gesamten Expeditionsteam und der Schiffsführung. Und wir haben bemerkt, dass wir als Senioren (92 Jahre) an Bord nicht als Hemmschuh angesehen wurden. Für 2019 haben wir eine der Reisen mit der "Sea Spirit" nach Spitzbergen vorgesehen und -gebucht.

I really want to thank Poseidon Expeditions and the great expedition team lead by Chris and Bettina - love them! I signed up for a photography tour in the Arctic and instead had amazing adventure. Our cruise around the Svalbard archipelago provided all the photography opportunities I wanted, but I also learned so much about the arctic; the flora, the animals (Polar bears!) and the amazing men who raced to the north pole. The m/v Sea Spirit crew and staff were amazing. Our expedition team was experienced, smart, fun and organized. They really made this trip fantastic. I absolutely loved every minute of this trip.

My experience with Poseidon Expeditions was top notch. The boat was well maintained. The captain and crew were world-class, and always put my safety and my needs first. The nearly 1:1 crew to passenger ratio is amazing. The ship is small enough that you get to know many of the other passengers, but large enough that you don't feel like all you do is stand in line or trip over others on the ship. It is amazing how quickly you get to know the crew as well. It was my first time with Poseidon Expeditions, but it will most definitely not be my last! In fact, I'm thinking of returning in 2020. One of the top 3 vacations of my life! Just simply outstanding.

This was an amazing trip with an amazing crew of people there to make it the best experience ever! The location of the ships port was a small town which was exciting to visit. The crew on board made everything bearable (being on a ship) and they provided great service from cleaning the room to ensuring our safety when riding the zodiacs. The food was delicious and there was always a great variety of choices. Overall everything was amazing I’m really looking forward to traveling with this company again.
