Portland Leather Goods was founded in 2015 when Curtis Matsko began crafting leather goods in his Portland garage with a simple goal: create beautifully simple, high-quality leather bags at a price people could actually afford. What started as a one-man project has grown into a global community of leather lovers, artisans, and repeat customers who believe great design should be accessible.We specialize in simply designed leather bags and accessories, including crossbody bags, tote bags, backpacks, wallets, journals, and everyday carry essentials. Our focus is on clean lines, functional design, and real leather that looks, feels, and smells like leather should.We source our hides from the beef industry, giving materials that would otherwise go to waste a second life. Our leather is tanned in award-winning facilities that prioritize environmentally responsible practices. Because our bags are made from real leather that is not synthetically coated or painted over, natural markings such as spots, grain variation, and occasional scars are part of what makes each piece unique.We own and operate our artisan workshop, The Studio, in León, Mexico, located near two of the most respected tanneries in North America. I love my Camera bags
I love my Camera bags! The size is small but fits everything I carry. And it is very easy to carry. Light weight for leather and the leather is very nice also. I have 3 camera bags, and love them all.

I Quickly Fell in Love!
My package arrived very quickly, and I opened it immediately! I was happy to see the purse and I inspected it at once to see if I could determine why it was listed as AP, and I could not. Although I love the size and color (small, black pebbled leather), I wish I had gone with the larger size in bone, as I originally planned, but that is OK! Now I can order something else, and this smaller size will be great for Tavel.

Purple purse
Am very pleased with your product the quality is excellent. Especially the price and the fact that it is made in America. I only think one thing could add to the quality of this product. I would have put feet in the bottom to keep it clean.

Portland Leather Goods is so fun! I've never owned a real leather purse, what was I doing for so long!? I always just got cheapies. I first saw PLG on Facebook and kept clicking and looking. Then I recognized it when my sister came over and she had a tote. So I thought I'd give it a try! I first did a C-Sale and a cute black round purse, love it! Then I purchased a Mystery Tote +4 and that is when I got hooked! How fun was it to anticipate what I would get! I was so pleased to see a merlot, zippered tote, since I had looked at merlot before! The +4 items were perfect! They included a classic makeup bag in pebbled sugar, the ballpark pouch in a stormy purple color (like a lavender but more gray), a sunglasses case in bone (another thing I wanted) and a short PLG keychain in pebbled black. Everything is so perfect! I will be purchasing more!
