great service, extremely well priced, they told me when the lock I had wanted wouldn't work with my century home door frames, and instead offers alternatives. they even cut the price when they found they finished the job faster than anticipated, saving on their labour. honest, expert, and proficient - thank you guys!

Not a ture roadside full service company
On September 13, 2025, at 3:01 PM, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, I had a flat tire. Simple fix, right? Wrong answer! My nationwide roadside assistance sent this company. First, a lady who couldn't get the lug nuts off. Then, they sent a man who stripped my lug nuts and still couldn't change the tire because Pop-A-Lock doesn't use a power wrench; it's against their policy, I was told. My lug nuts were swollen. Hey Pop-A-Lock, you are aware they sell half-inch sockets to accommodate swollen lug nuts that you can use with a ratchet. Three hours and they did absolutely nothing to assist me. Poor service and inadequate equipment.

Our roadside assistance technicians perform thousands of these services annually - tire changes are something they do every day. When lug nuts are stripped or severely swollen, this is a condition we discover upon arrival, not something we cause. Absolute theft from popalock
Absolute theft from popalock, we were quoted $65 plus a trip fee as we were in the country but only 30 min from Dallas, tx. When the tech arrived, we asked again how much and the tech said let me make certain I can open it first. After opening he presented a bill for $454.65 - $250 for the lock, $100 for the tech's labor and $50 for a trip fee. I've used popalock in town before and it was $65, but i will break the window before giving this dishonest company another cent!
