I’ll start with the positives... the quality of this dress is genuinely impressive for the price point. The fabric is beautiful, the color is exactly as pictured, and the dress has a lovely weight and flow to it. If the dress arrived as it was described, this would have been an easy 5-star review. I ordered this dress using the custom-size service, providing a specific bust measurement. What I received was a dress that measured 20cm (8-inch) bigger on the bust if you wanted the advertised v-shape lace up back. To get the dress even close to fitting, the lace-up corset back has to be pulled so tight that the panels completely overlap. This is a clear manufacturing error and this left zero room for adjustment. Naturally I brought this error to the attention of customer service and this is where the experience fell apart. When I raised this with customer service (Sara), the response was incredibly dismissive. Despite providing photographic proof of a clear manufacturing error, I was told: Returns aren't possible because it's "custom" (ironic, since they didn't follow the custom measurements). They offered 40% compensation to take it to a local tailor to have it altered. The amount offered wouldn't even cover the deposit for a UK tailor to rebuild a bodice by 20cm. It took many back and forth emails of me rejecting their offer (as why should I pay for a fault cause by their tailors) and myself and Sara arguing over their own policies and their manufacturing. To keep this short, I was finally offered a re-make with no additional cost after I pointed out by Sara's own words she was admitting to false advertising. The quality of the material proves that Pomuyoo has the potential to be a great brand, but their customer service is a massive red flag. They seem to use the "custom-made" label as a shield to avoid taking responsibility for their own mistakes. Advice to buyers: If you are a standard size and don’t need the custom service, you’ll likely get a beautiful dress. However, if you use the custom measurements and they get it wrong then be prepared for a week long fight. Beautiful dress, but a very stressful experience.

Ordered mother of the bride dress some three weeks ago. Dress arrived, tried on, must say that it is a beautiful dress. Problem, very tight shoulder area and under the arm so movement is restricted. Second problem, bodice has padded boob area which are too far near the neckline to even try to get your boobs in and once in, if you do move your arms your boobs just fall out leaving a bulky pouch at front of dress. When corresponding with company, they first asked me to try a tight bra with the dress, it’s off the shoulder so the straps would be seen but this doesn’t work neither or tape or a strapless bra. I have now been informed that I should take it to a dress maker and get the padded bra area removed from the dress at my expense. This will not alter the fact that the dress it tight around the top of the shoulder arm area and why should I go to the expense of having a brand new dress altered. All I want to do is return the dress which is within my rights as a customer. Update, been to a dress maker offing to do alteration for approx 30/35 pound. Got in touch with company as I just wanted to send dress back. They send no problem, but had to be registered, packed accordingly and other stuff which they said would cost about 35 pounds to return. They also offered me 50 percent discount and 15 percent discount if I shopped with them again. I ve accepted the 50 percent discount as if I didn’t I would still lose out. The refund was put into my account straight away. I ll take the dress to the dress maker and get it altered. The dress may or not not worn. Pleased I got some return on my purchase which was done fairly quickly. Overall I am now satisfied and I do love the dress. The refund will take care of the alterations needed.

Was unhappy with my order but customer services were quick to resolve the issue.

Ordered a custom bridesmaid dress. The dress was way too tight in the bust and I felt like if I took a deep breath, it would rip. The lining of the waist fit perfectly but the outer fabric was loose and bubbly. After a few emails back and forth, they will send me a new dress for free, I just have to pay the expedited shipping.
