Horrible company used to care about everyone collecting now panders to scalpers of course so they can make as much money as possible, newest set dropped for preorder errors out 4 times and of course all sold out, watched people buy 4 booster boxes at once like what the hell. Time to get the newborn into a new tcg like magic or yugioh pokemon has fallen so hard to greed.

I'm done with Pokemon Center and probably Pokemon, entirely, at this point. There are 2 options for buying packs. Paying ridiculous scalper prices (including from the local card shops) or going through Pokemon directly, via the vending machines or their website. The vending machines suck, so I went to the website. I sat "in line" for about an hour and a half. 3 of the 4 new items that I am interested in showed still in stock. I added one of each to my cart and proceeded to check out. When I confirmed all of my info, it said that they had an error, the page refreshed, and I went back to the end of the line. I waited over 45 minutes this time, and was shocked when it loaded into my cart with those items still there and showing in stock. I again verified my info and agreed to the payment.... error and back of the line. When it finally came back this time everything is out of stock. I tried to do it the right way and still get fųçķed, so Pokemon can go fųçķthemselves. You can't stop scalpers from taking thousands of boxes each, but you'll make sure to screw over the collectors.

Absolutely ridiculous how Pokémon Center UK is STILL broken. Constant errors, nothing works, can't buy a single thing without the site crashing or bugging out. How is this even acceptable in 2025? Meanwhile, fans in Europe get basically NOTHING. No proper merch, no restocks, no events, no support – it's like Pokémon forgot we even exist. The site is plagued by errors meant to prevent bots but tuned to also prevent 99% of humans from ordering as well. This is what happens when your only goal is to make gambling for children legal. You make the drop rates for good cards near 0. You have low print quality so when good cards are found they're damaged out of the pack. Then you make buying the product itself a gamble with a myriad of site errors so that you create such a false sense of scarcity that you can basically print money by gamifying access in the first place.

DONT BUY FROM THEM! The only decent customer service is in Japan otherwise, they will keep your merchandise and never refund you. Customer service is horrendous and if you try to speak to someone else they threaten that you that they will remove your ability to ever contact them in the future. Thats insane.

Fix your site, there MUST be a better way to do things. I appreciate you're trying to work towards getting rid of bots, thats fantastic but you're ruining the experience for fans - its not working. Sick of wasting countless hours in a queue just for no products to load or immediately be kicked for "suspicious activity".
