Review of the under eye serum….it works BUT it’s really hard to apply just the exact right amount and in the exact correct area under the eye. I have yet to get both eyes equal. Also have to use just the exact right amount which is hard to determine. It does get cakey as the day wares on. Not really as easy as promoted.
Thank you Plexaderm for your response. I have tried all your recommendations and advise during the last year…..I was really determined to make this work. It’s not a bad product but your advertising is very very misleading. Sorry.

You’re absolutely right, application technique and amount are key with the Plexaderm and it can take some trial and error to find what works best for each person. Using a very small amount and allowing it to fully dry before applying other products can help reduce cakiness and improve results. When using additional products, they should be water based. As oils break down the tightening effect that Plexaderm creates. Please note that results can vary from product to product. Many customers find a smooth finish by mixing a small amount of the Plexaderm Rapid Reduction Serum with their foundation/concealer. We also recommend applying a thin, even layer and allowing it to fully set while avoiding facial movements for about 10 minutes. Plexaderm / Not smooth
I have been using plexaderm for quite a number of years, but since using this tube, I find that it dries very flaky or another word to use It’s dry as caked on. I do not recall this ever happening in the very beginning..

I'm a longtime user of Plexaderm and I've survived all the challenges your company has experienced. The pump product was the best. Unfortunately they dried up over time. Those were replaced with small squeeze tubes that were difficult to use and 30% of the product was wasted. The current squeeze tube works well but the product is not as effective as when I originally used the pump bottle. The product seems too watery. I'm hoping that you, or a competitor, gets the balance right. Thank you

We understand your feedback regarding the different packaging styles. Many customers loved the pump bottle, and while it offered great convenience, it unfortunately had issues with product drying over time, which is why we transitioned to tubes. We also recognize your concern about product waste with earlier tube designs, and we’re happy to hear the current version is working better for you.
Regarding the texture and effectiveness feeling different: please know that the formula has not changed. Occasionally, storage or changes in skincare routines or application methods can affect the product’s consistency. Too old for the product.
I like that it gets rid of the under my eyes bags.
Regarding the rest of my wrinkles, and I do have many, it seems that I am too old for this and it helps some with a few but not around my mouth and other areas. I continue using it because it helps a little and gets rid of the bags under my eyes. It probably works great for younger ladies. I am 87 yers old.

I have not rec'd it yet however have been buying it since it came out. I wish for your returning loyal customers you would offer the "treat" pkg like the first year, where you rec'd 3 or 4 different items to try to see if you wanted to purchase those in the future - perhaps smaller sample sizes as a little treat for your loyal customers. I own a business and it makes all the difference in the world to customers !

We understand how frustrating it can be when a product delivers great results but doesn’t fully meet your needs in other important ways, like compatibility with foundation. When using makeup, oil free works best. Try mixing 1/3 liquid foundation or concealer with 2/3 Plexaderm and apply with your fingertip. Allow the Plexaderm/foundation mixture to set for 10 minutes. All makeup brands are different so you may need to adjust the Plexaderm-to-foundation ratio until you get the desired results. The results achieved with Plexaderm are truly remarkable. The dark circles under my eyes miraculously disappeared; and I looked 10 years younger while using it. The effect was striking. I bought three additional tubes of Plexaderm, after seeing these results.
However, I am no longer using the product, because it leaves a pink-colored "afterlook" under my eyes, that is noticeable to anyone coming within close proximity of me. It looks artificial; and I have seen some questioning looks from people near me. If Plexaderm came with a clear "afterlook, that would be helpful.
In addition, it is impossible to wear any foundation on my face, while using Plexaderm. The two do not mix. Once the foundation is applied (LONG after giving the Plexaderm a full chance to dry), the Plexaderm flakes right off, as though it was never applied in the first place. This is unacceptable to me. The instructions tell us not to wear foundation. However, I need a thin layer of foundation because of a blotchy look to my cheeks. Therefore, I can no longer use the Plexaderm, as much as I loved its effects.
If Sheer Science could find a way to stop the Plexaderm from flaking when foundation is applied, AND if it could change the pink afterlook to a clear one, I would once again purchase this amazing product.

Your insights about the pink afterlook and flaking with makeup are incredibly helpful and will be shared with our product development team as we continuously work to improve. However, this typically means too much product was applied. Once Plexaderm is applied and fully dried, should be transparent. Simply apply less and be sure to apply an even, thin layer. When using makeup, water based works best. You can try mixing both foundation and Plexaderm together and gently apply it to the areas of concern and allow to fully set (about 10 mintues). Then finish applying additional foundation on the other areas.
