Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're sorry to hear that the Plexaderm did not provide the results you were hoping for with your under-eye concerns. We understand your frustration regarding the lack of improvement in the appearance of dark circles, as well as the difficulty you experienced when using moisturizer or makeup alongside the product. Water based items work best when using in addition to Plexaderm. The flaking and pink residue you described can sometimes occur if too much product is applied or if it is layered with other skincare products before fully setting, but we recognize that this does not change your experience. Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you noticed improvement with under eye bags and puffiness, but we’re sorry to hear the residue made it difficult to wear with makeup. For best results, we recommend applying a very small amount — about half a pea size for both under eyes — spreading it thin and evenly. Allow the Plexaderm to dry completely (up to 10 minutes) before applying any additional skincare or makeup. When using additional cosmetics with Plexaderm Rapid Reduction Serum, water-based products work best. Try mixing 1/3 liquid foundation or concealer with 2/3 Plexaderm and apply with your fingertip. Allow the Plexaderm/foundation mixture to set for 10 minutes. All makeup brands are different so you may need to adjust the Plexaderm-to-foundation ratio until you get the desired results. We’re glad to hear it works well for your under-eyes, but we understand how frustrating it is when it doesn’t hold up around the mouth area, especially after eating or drinking. Applying too much product or layering it with certain skincare or makeup formulas (especially oil-based ones) can sometimes lead to the cracking effect you described. That’s definitely not the result we want for anyone using our Rapid Reduction Serum, especially after you followed the directions so carefully. While many customers see temporary tightening effects, we understand that results can vary, and what you’re describing, sounds like you experienced sensitivity.
