Disappointing Quality and Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of the boots I purchased and the way my complaint has been handled from pole junkie. The boots started peeling and tearing apart after just five training sessions. This is completely unacceptable for footwear specifically designed for pole dancing, especially considering that they are not inexpensive products. When I contacted customer service of pole junkie, I was told that this type of damage is normal due to friction and that the material is particularly sensitive. In other words, I was expected to accept that boots designed for this very activity can fall apart after minimal use, with no replacement or satisfactory solution offered. To make matters worse, I have a pole dancing competition in just two weeks, and I am now left without suitable competition footwear because of this issue. The timing makes the situation even more frustrating, but what disappoints me most is the company's unwillingness to take responsibility or offer a reasonable resolution. I understand that pole dancing involves friction and that some wear and tear is inevitable. However, there is a significant difference between normal wear and tear and material peeling and tearing apart after only five sessions. If the material is so delicate that this can happen after such limited use, customers deserve to be clearly informed before purchasing. Simply blaming the nature of the activity is not an adequate response to a legitimate quality concern. Unfortunately, my experience has left me disappointed not only with the product but also with the customer service. I expected better quality, greater transparency, and a more customer-oriented approach when a product failed so quickly. Based on my personal experience, I would think twice before purchasing from this company again both pleaser and pole junkie
