Backbone Labs, Inc.Reviews of playbackbone.com

Great product. I love it. Makes my mobile gaming experience a full blown gaming experience with apps like PlayStation remote play, GeForce and Xbox remote play. I wish I weren’t only iPhone exclusive as some android phones are stronger and better fit for the mission but over five star service in replacing my broken one and the product itself for being downright amazing.

I purchased the backbone for each of my sons and they love it. They are gaming enthusiasts and are amazed by this controller. I was so happy to buy it for them because personally wanted one for myself and I’m even happier cause they love it! Thank You! I’m sure plenty gamers out there would agree with my sons.

This controller is perfect for what I needed, playing COD Mobile! It fits my IPhone XS just right, plus it comes with a headphone port to connect your favorite headset with a mic. And you can charge your phone at the same time if you’re plugged in, it’s a win win win. Definitely recommend!

Saw this product on Twitter and I had to try it. As soon as it came in I tried it out and I was surprised how much I loved it. It first phone perfectly. The controls are comfortable and responsive. It’s great.

The Backbone makes me enjoy my iPhone again. It gives you a way to avoid using the awful Apple UI by using its own modern-console like UI instead- and since it’s plugged straight into the phone instead of using Bluetooth, there’s no latency whatsoever unlike similar controllers. It feels more comfortable then I ever expected, and I can play it for hours without putting it away. To top it all off, it adds an audio jack back to the iPhone, something Apple themselves can’t manage to do. If there’s one problem with it, it’s that the Backbone Menu occasionally doesn’t register a game as being controller-compatible when said game has controller support. Maybe add a bypass that lets you manually add titles to the backbone list.

I received the hardware quickly. The hardware feels very premium while the software is an amazingly smooth experience. Even though my iPhone 13 Pro Max is too big for the controller, Backbone is sending me an adapter for free and I cannot wait to game more often with it.

I bought 1,then bought another for my wife..I think I will be buying 1 for my 4 year old son soon..we love it!!

I just wanted to thank Backbone for their awesome customer support throughout the warranty process. I dropped my controller from a very short height…nonetheless I dropped it. When I mentioned this to them, their response was “thank you for being honest.” To be honest, I wasn’t even looking for a replacement, only troubleshooting assistance. They were very responsive to emails and replaced my damaged Backbone One controller within about a week. Every other company should take notice and replicate Backbone’s pro-consumer practices and outstanding customer support. Thank you Backbone!!!
