The service was great but the tree died within a week of planting.

It’s very tinny baby Japanese boxwood, so the price is not reasonable comparing with other gardens’ similar one.

A few days after ordering, I was contacted and told that one item is not available and was given an option to substitute another they had selected, which I did. The next day, I checked and my original choice was listed as available. Seems like a 'bait and switch'. The alternate tree is showing no signs of life, whereas other trees I received are thriving. Did they do this to dump one of their dead ones on me?? I'll look elsewhere to one of their many competitors for future purchases. I must say, though, that the delivery was timely and professional.

The service and delivery was great! But the 5 gallon plants were realistically 1 gallon plants in 5 gallon containers.

I ordered five trees from plants express and four out of five of them arrived healthy. One came with visible root rot. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to inspect them within the 24-hour requirement (didn't get to check until the third day) so I was denied a refund or replacement. I also have an issue with their website being dishonest with negative reviews. You'll see it's full of five and four stars review, well that's because apparently they reject 1-star reviews! I know because my four reviews that I rated 5 stars are posted but the one 1 star review on the root rot plant was never published. I would not advise doing business with them again as the plants they ship can be hit or miss.
