Over 100$ for a tiktok promotion resulted in the track being used by 5 "influencers" of debatable impact. The fact that they have a lot of (fake?) followers is clearly irrelevant, as the results show. Pitch-Us tried to persuade me that engagement with the posts would help, but some of the videos were embarrassingly bad, so the less association with the artist the better. I blame myself to some extent. You can't just conjure up TikTok popularity: it's just a shame that some of these promo companies try to suggest that you can. So $100+ down the drain...a lesson learned that, if it seems too good to be true, it almost certainly is, in the world of social media music promotion.
