Great service but....
17 months ago, we called PipeWorks for a leak. The technician came out, diagnosed the problem and replaced a kitchen drain. Still, even though the total cost was about $290, we were glad to have PipeWorks out to fix the issue. Last week, another technician came out because the sink was leaking again, in the same place as before. The technician was again very nice and very competent. He diagnosed the problem as a failed washer in the drain that PipeWorks had installed less than a year and a half ago, and fixed it. My problem is not with the competence of the technicians, because they are very professional and good at what they do. But being charged another $60 for a visit to fix what was already fixed less than 18 months ago is more than a little aggravating. There is simply no way we should expect to fix this drain every 18 months, and if the equipment that you’re choosing to install is going to fail that often, you should be changing suppliers. At the very least, it seems as though PipeWorks would want to stand behind its work for longer than that.
