Very much a scam and money grab so the founders can build up follower count and exit. The "suppliers" aren't giving any special "discounts" to Pietra customers. In fact, suppliers hate dealing with Pietra because the behind the scenes admin of Pietra is a *^#*#show. Most of the quality/industry suppliers we know wouldn't go anywhere near Pietra. The company clearly knows little to nothing about manufacturing and the realities of product development. Run, don't walk, away!

Extremely late shipping of orders; orders sitting in the queue far longer than the stated fulfillment time. Choosing $18 DHL shipping of an order that we would've shipped for $9-12 via USPS. Choosing the most expensive shipping option to ship orders. This warehouse will not hesitate to charge us so much for shipping that we lose money on every order.Many, many processes that ought to be automated are instead performed manually by humans (for example, checking in inventory, or listing inventory to new platforms), taking up such a huge amount of time it's hard to imagine either the business (us) or Pietra making money. Every time a shipment arrives at Pietra's warehouse, we have to have a Zoom call about it.Pietra's offer to list our merchandise across multiple platforms, which was a selling point, has turned out to be trivial or even damaging. For example, Pietra lists all its clients items on Pietra's own Etsy page, [sensitive content hidden], which currently has made 2 sales ever and has 1 star out of 5. Pietra is offering to list our products to Twitter on Pietra's own Twitter Shops, but Twitter only allows each shop to list a total of 50 items, so it would not be possible for Pietra to follow through on this.We have not used Pietra's sourcing but have not had a need to do this, as I have really never had an issue communicating directly with a Chinese manufacturer, as all of them have English speaking agents whose job it is to do this

Beware before you trust Pietra. I really wanted to love Pietra because I see their vision and what they want to offer to business owners. The idea is there, but the follow through and results are very much lacking. 1. Regarding finding suppliers. I will start by saying the ONE good experience I had was finding my jewelry Manufacter that I love. The rest of my experience with finding suppliers was not great. Over half of them don’t even respond to the initial inquiry message. I did a sample of jewelery packaging with ITIS packaging and compared it with a sample from a place from Alibaba and the one from Alibaba was 10x higher quality and about the same price per unit. I ordered some care cards and tissue paper from DODO packaging and I’m SO dissatisfied with that experience and quality. There’s many other options to find suppliers where you don’t have to pay to access the platform. Their print-on-demand section is literally just Printful with with less options. (The same exact products, product models, customization options, etc) If you want made-to-order/print-on-demand, just go straight to Printful where you have more options and control. 2. Regarding the fulfillment. I shipped my Jewelry and packaging to Pietra with hopes of using their warehousing and fulfillment service. But after many red flags I decided to do it in-house. Red flags: -A simple step that was supposed to take 2-5 days as advertised took 5 weeks. -within the Pietra community I saw many negative experiences of other ecom business owners waiting weeks for their customers orders to be delivered. -they don’t have good systems in place to make things efficient. -connecting your own outside manufacturer is not as easy and simple as they advertise. I know they’re trying and I know they have a great vision for what they WANT to be. But they’re not there yet unfortunately and they shouldn’t be trusted with your hard earned money and business you’ve worked so hard on.

I do NOT recommend this service. 1) I paid up-front for 1 year of service (TERRIBLE IDEA) based on what they advertised. After going through the website and trying it out for less than 2 weeks, I realized it wasn't as advertised/hoped. I asked for a pro-rated refund (11 months of service I didn't want) which they absolutely refused. Their argument was it's a digital product and don't issue refunds. False, it's a digital service/subscription and people cancel those all the time. I am writing this post to protect the next person... DO NOT BUY their annual plan because if you don't like their platform, they will keep your money. I hope this negative review costs them thousands more than the $400 I lost out on. 2) their Print-on-Demand and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) options are literally the exact same as PrintFull - which offers a FREE service. Ironically, Pietra doesn't allow you to link your DTC designs to Shopify for order fulfillment - PrintFull does. Pietra ONLY allows you to list items stored in inventory at their warehouse. It makes absolutely no sense... it's either their way to force you to use their sub-par storefront, or a way to force you to spend more money out of pocket while trying to build a brand. Again, it's the same DTC platform as PrintFull, PrintFull allows you to link direct to Shopify, Pietra does not. 3) their online Storefront is a marketing ploy. You can't personalize your Pietra storefront like you can on Shopify - hence, why I wanted to link Pietra to Shopify. Pietra's banner and logo are all over their storefront options. It's difficult to build a brand when the design of their storefront creates a brand identity crisis. 2) the vast majority of their vendors are NOT based on the US, which is what originally attracted me to Pietra. I even used their filter tool to only show vendors based out of the US. Doing some research, all 10 of the vendors I looked into were based overseas (mostly China). The only positive thing is that their customer service was responsive... But I wholeheartedly disagree that they can't offer me a refund. I own multiple restaurants... Their are people that eat my food I paid for, both the actual ingredients and labor that went into cooking the product, and I still offer refunds for customers whose expectations I failed to meet. Their argument is ridiculous. Hope this helps.

THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!! USE ANYONE ELSE!!!! SO SO SO SO BAD!!! I was so excited to find them originally and to try to streamline my small business. However, it was nothing short of a total disaster! 1. Started off trying to use some of their suppliers for my new collections. The suppliers that I chose from their curated list ended up charging me for samples that were NOT what I ordered. Then when I tried to address the issues, they refused to contact me back or refund my money. 2. My samples took several additional days to arrive to me becuase Pietra automatically has all samples shipped to their warehouse, even though I had the ship-to address listed as my home. This delay was unfortunate since I had them planned to arrive for a specific day that I was meeting with potential customers. 3. I finally decided to source my products from non-pietra vendors, then had the items shipped to pietra. I followed to SHIPPING GUIDELINES listed on their website perfectly. Then I received a notification from UPS stating that there was no one at the address that we shipped it to. I reached out to our point of contact and she stated that they had moved and had sent out an email at some point with the change of address. They STILL have not updated the shipping guidelines listed online, so I am certain other people have inventory being shipped back to them as well. NO refund was offered or any sort of compensation. 4. Once my items FINALLY arrived at their new address, it took 4 WEEKS to be processed into their system!! 4 WEEKS!!!! No matter how many times I asked them to find my items or asked them to PLEASE help, they were unable to help. They just kept saying it would be processed ASAP and then by specific dates. Those dates came and went over and over and over. 4 WEEKS!! Are you kidding me!? 5. Then I asked for my items to be shipped back to me and to offboard my account and my inventory. They told me they were unable to give me an estimated timeframe for that process and that they would get to it when they could. Again, are you kidding me!? It took 4 weeks to process my items coming in.... I can only imagine how long it would take to get my inventory out. So stupidly, I decided to try to just sell the inventory I had stocked with them and then use someone else for the next batch of inventory. Another mistake on my part. 6. I placed the order to get items sent to my customers and we are now 8 DAYS from the orders being placed and the items have STILL NOT SHIPPED to my customers. This is such a joke!!! Pietra is BY FAR THE WORST company I have EVER worked with and I will now make it my mission to tell every other business owner I can about my experience. I hope I can save them SO MUCH PAIN, wasted time, and wasted resources. USE ANOTHER FULFILLMENT COMPANY. USE ANYONE ELSE!!!! DO NOT USE PIETRA!!!!!

I have been using Pietra's fulfillment service, wherein they are supposed to ship to customers within 2-3 days. They currently are sitting on orders that are TWENTY FOUR DAYS OLD. I have been emailing them every day, with no progress. When they have shipped orders, they have often chosen the most expensive shipping ($18 DHL when $11-12 USPS would do), causing me to actually lose money on sales. I can't speak to the sourcing aspect, but the fulfillment is very bad. UPDATE Aug 7 2025: I have already left Pietra and had to have my merchandise shipped back to me at my own expense. If you want to make this right, reimburse me for freight.

The cause of our company's BANKRUPTCY!

I did not like the platform, every supplier I reached out to either did not communicate effectively or get back to me at all, nor did they offer low minimums like the site claims. Pietra doesn't give advance notice or reminders prior to billing and won't reverse the charge despite the fact that I didn't know they would be charging me, and have no plans to use the site. They make you fill out a form to cancel. Wouldn't recommend.
