We appreciate you becoming a client. Thank you for taking the time for this review.

Pilot Insurance Center (PIC) specializes in life insurance for pilots — these are full coverage policies with no aviation exclusions, from carriers rated A or A+ by AM Best.Founded and run by two active pilots, PIC has served the aviation community for over 29 years. We understand what most agents often miss: Group life policies frequently exclude general aviation altogether, and they're usually priced higher than an individual policy tailored to your flying profile.Getting the correct underwriting is critical to getting the best pricing – we speak aviation and know the underwriters who “get it”.What we do:• Evaluate your coverages and identify gaps• Determine the benefit amount for your needs• Help you decide on a term length that fits• Match you to the best underwriting programs Every policy we recommend covers you fully, in the air and on the ground.Speak with an aviation-savvy agent who respects your time and privacy. See what other pilots are saying about us on Facebook, Google, and Trustpilot.

Overall really responsive and usually good to answer questions, specifically Brianna and Kris. I won’t mention names to save face out of respect, but the only concern to not give 5 stars is that customer service reps are not the most helpful with giving clear explanations and compassionate answers to questions I’ve had on forms to complete. The general demeanor of customer service has been more like: “this is straight forward” and you should know how to fill this out without clear instructions. I’d suggest that you pre fill any known forms as much as possible to avoid churning between customers and agents going back and forth. This is how I’ve seen other professional forms be handled so the customer can simply sign the dotted line. Overall a good experience but I’ve had added friction in a small volume of interactions that could easily have been avoided.

Very nice personnel. Need to at times be more professionally thorough. Explain in more detailed form, and especially help obtain and record applicable information. It’s not correct to just send emails and expect the customer to have to decipher ALL, fill in, and send back. Need to be detail oriented. If something has been sent in before, a customer should not have to do it multiple times. That all being said, it is a good company overall and where I choose to be.
