Pickup MusicReviews of pickupmusic.com

I’m really enjoying the content on Pickup Music. The course selection is awesome. I’m a novice and I’m finding the lessons are more thorough compared to the bits and pieces lessons I experienced on other apps and YouTube content.

Absolutely love the learning format on Pickup music! The lessons are well thought out and logical, giving you bite size pieces on a schedule. I’ve truly learned the material instead of just glazing over it. The CAGED Bootcamp alone is worth the price of admission! My playing has advanced quicker than it ever has before, and I’m not even finished the course yet.

This website is SO GOOD. I have played guitar, on and off, for a decade. I have learnt more in two months than I ever thought possible. If you want to get better at guitar, try this out now!

An incredibly well-thought platform for learning guitar.

It’s a vast library of fairly straightforward and easy to follow up lessons/training sessions with musicians that generously share their guitar knowledge. My first enrollment was with the Caged bootcamp and that changed my way understanding of the fretboard opening up to pathways I wasn’t expecting to get in such a short time… i hope they continue to keep this membership accessible as it is, I really enjoy it and have recommended it to guitar friends. Thxs!!!

The Molly Miller CAGED Bootcamp is worth the cost of admission on its own. I have yet to check out the other classes but I've been really impressed with the quality of instruction and most importantly the PACING! So much online content is poorly paced, often forcing you to sit through things you already know. These classes are well targeted at the intermediate player who isn't picking up a guitar for the first time. I wish they had more here for acoustic players and are broader depth of instrumentation than just guitar, but I expect that will grow with time. It's a cool idea, I hope they keep going (especially at this price point.)

Absolutely the best source anywhere to improve your playing regardless of where you currently are. I am so grateful they put this out there. I SOOOOO wish it was around when I was first starting out way back when.

The first one started playing the guitar at the beginning of the pandemic and I'm old and not very smart I started trying to learn on YouTube which is good has its place I learned a lot on YouTube then I Got fender play which was pretty good too he started getting kind of corny and I started I wanted to learn more I wanted to get better I kept seeing as for pick up music but I thought it was like a scam I'm getting it and it's the best thing I've ever done the instructors are amazing they take the time to teach you in little chunks but eventually you build your confidence and get better Don't think about it if you got the money just get pick up music and you'll see your playing will get better
