These are well thought out guitar lessons and the videos are good quality. I have a habit of trying to rush ahead to play things beyond my ability but the Pickup lessons help keep me on track. The riffs and exercises at each step sound great as well so it really helps motivate me as I’m actually playing real music along with a band! I’m also learning about music theory along the way. Really great stuff.

I love the structure, I’ve basically been an experience learner akin to a parrot, and this is fulfilling the goal to be more technical… I’ve only been able to start this past week due to twins and everything but I legitimately wake up looking forward to the days lesson… My only critique would be at the moment that I’m on the song learning of the grade 1 on neo soul, and some of the teachers will use different hand positions for their chord transitions and it can be a tad confusing, but otherwise i look forward to more lessons in the future

The learning pathways are extremely well done. Pickup Music does what it advertises. It takes guitarists like me who have learnt through mostly random youtube videos and gives us clear step by step ways to progress. Ultimately the work is up to you, but having pickup music means i wont be lacking for knowledge.

CAGED Boot Camp: I really benefited from the way the lessons were structured. They are not too easy and not too hard, either. Very logical in the approach ( at least in my opinion), and easy to follow. The instructor (Molly Miller) is an excellent teacher. Through this lesson, I have finally understood the CAGED system. There is still a lot of work to be done on my part, but the "mystery" of the CAGED has been lifted. I know now what to practice because I actually understand what I am doing.

Exactly what I need. The pathways start quite easy, but then get progressively more advanced. The jams are really fun and motivating. Perfect for intermediate players who are stuck in a rut and look for new stimuli. I wish I learned about pickup earlier.

Pickup music is awesome! I would recommend for any intermediate guitar player.

The user interface is extremely well done, the website is so easy to use, the camera angles are excellent and the overall overview makes it super easy to go around on the website. Then it is just super fun that there are so many different tutors to show you different skills. There are lessons for really everyone. I have been using pick up music for five weeks now, and it helped me develop my guitar skills so much, I almost cannot believe it myself. The music pathways and the attached videos just provide so much quality and takeaway, and the best of all, it really feels like an exchange as the videos are so qualitative and interactive, which I highly appreciate. Also, it just keeps you even more motivated to play and practice in the "right" ways. Personally, pickup music opened another door for me, which I thought would only be accessible by higher entry fees. Being a student, pickup music makes it easy for you to use the website for years as the membership is in my view is super affordable, especially when comparing it to other types of music content providers. Really great stuff, it is so much fun, it feels like a community, you can always reach out and you will always get a responds. I cannot recommend it enough.
