Pickup MusicReviews of pickupmusic.com

They make it easy to understand. Different views on the guitar and a good pace for learning. Ive been playing guitar for 20 years but never learned the CAGED system for example. It is a game changer and makes so much sense the way it is taught on this website! Also, I was able to send in a video of myself playing and a teacher took the time to evaluate it and send me a video providing feedback! Amazing company and highly recommended!!

Pickup Music has an incredible amount of high quality content. The instructors are top notch, the learning pathways are structured to suit players of all skill levels, and the website's UI makes it easy to navigate. The price is the same as a 30 minute lesson at my local music stores. I can't say enough good things about Pickup Music. If you want to take your guitar playing to the next level or learn a new style, this is the place to go!

This is my favorite place on the internet. The pathways are the perfect way to lay out a daily practice routine and keep edging your progress forward. Adding in the live lessons and weeklong live events by talented professional musicians... The monthly subscription will be the best money you've ever spent.

Ive tried pretty much everything on the internet when it comes to music lessons, from SBL to Waay and Pickup Music is the best all round imo. Straight forward lessons that don’t overlap so you know you’re getting your money’s worth and super smooth UI that makes the experience comfortable.

I have tried other major websites for guitar classes by comparison Pickup Music is the best I think and the subscription is absolutely worth it. There are great classes (really like the Learning Pathways concept and its setup), great teachers/Artists and styles of music. Beside the classic style you usually find on other sites there is a good portion for Neo Soul, Funk and Jazz and more contemporary styles. The masterclasses looks great though I did not try them yet. The community seems active, I like the regular live classes and the regular podcast and topics covered. I am still a recent subscribed member and so far so good.

I've tried many guitar websites and Pickup Music is the one I have chosen to stuck with. It has short lessons that build upon one another. Interactive tabs that go along with the videos. They even let you upload performances at the end of each module and an expert will review your performance and give you personalized feedback. They have a great community. Pickup Music regularly hosts webinars which are essentially live group lessons. Their forums are active and answer questions. It's all these extra benefits that really blow the competition away.

Pickup Music has been helping me break out of that high-intermediate plateau that I've been stuck on for years. The step by step lessons give me something new to work toward every day. After just a few weeks, I'm finally seeing progress for the first time in many years.

Simple and Effective This class touches all the main points right away and really helped me think more broadly about my fretboard
