It is a unique course. I have been playing guitar for almost 13 years, and effectively learned only for the first time - realizing the gaps I had in the essential knowledge. Now for the first time, I am able to bridge that gap with amazing classes provided by the best in class. I can only recommend.

I'm really impressed with Pickup Music. What sets this platform apart from others is the instructors can and do explain the theory behind the material and why things work. I love the attention given to soul, gospel and funk and the quality of artists they've used for these lessons & classes. It's great how the instructors or crew respond to user comments posted on specific video lessons and share their knowledge. Excellent value for money.

I find Pickupmusic awesome! I must admit that I started with very low expectations because I was only trying to improve my theoretical knowledge and such. However, after a week working on the CAGED pathway, my perception was completely different. Now I consider Pickupmusic a complementary but necessary tool on my guitarist journey because it helps me keep learning new stuff and never get stuck again. It's incredibly awesome

I very rarely write reviews, but Pickup Music is undoubtedly the best online resource for learning guitar available (I can honestly say I've tried almost all the others). Save yourself hundreds of hours of sifting through YouTube videos and sign up! The various 'pathways' encompass almost everything you could imagine learning. The accompanying resources for each 'pathway' are excellent and effectively highlight how fun and straightforward learning guitar can be. I no longer feel the need for 'in-person' lessons, as Pickup Music covers everything. My progress with Pickup Music has been significantly greater and quicker than with 'in-person' lessons, making it an easy choice for me.

This is the ultimate platform for learning guitar. The lessons are bite-sized, and the performance reviews have been instrumental in my guitar journey. The live Zoom sessions on Mondays are fantastic for learning as a community. 5 STARS!

Been playing guitar for a few years (on and off) but never made any real progress until I subscribe to Pickup Music. Their learning pathway is really great and it give me directions everyday what to improve on and what to practice. Playing guitar now is fun and feel more structured than before. Highly recommend Pickup Music

The amount of different courses is astonishing, they give you ways to exercise by yourself, and make you understand why things work the way it does, it's not just about throwing a few licks and call it a course. The structure of the different courses always make sense, and it is very easy, no matter what guitar mastery you are at to find something useful. A special shoutout to the Hendricks course from Karl, the neo soul altered scale bit and the caged system pathways that really unlocked something special to me. It's very well worth the money, and even if it sounds silly, the whole team feels encouraging, and involved into answering any question you may have during lessons. Absolutely, definitely, super very mega happy :D

Pickup Music has been my best online learning experience so far, even outside of music. The instructors are amazing players, but most importantly, they're very good teachers. You can tell they've designed their programs carefully, as all of the content is broken down really well into relatively small and logical pieces, while still giving you a good feeling of progression after completing each lesson. As with any musical instrument, you have to apply yourself and practice to get all of the benefits, but if you commit to it, Pickup Music will help you take your playing further and give you plenty of inspiring material to work through. I still don't think anything like this would ever replace the value of a real (and good) teacher, but for my needs and budget, it is near perfect.
