First and foremost the Instructors are excellent! The CAGED System is my first completion. Molly Miller I have no words to express her knowledge and teaching ability. I'm retired and was attempting to play the guitar for over 40 years, (work, kids had priority) I'm looking forward to the Blues & Jazz coarse. Thank you John.

I have been an intermediate for a long long time and I've encountered the CAGED system so many times online. The CAGED system is now making sense to me and how you visualise the fretboard. I'm optimistic that this course will really help in my soloing journey.

I am delighted to have pursued my trial of Pickup. I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The lessons are very easy to follow, with a logical structure. I got a better understanding of my level. Some parts are remedial; other parts present new tests. What sets this site apart is its approach to music theory – they make it fast, easy, and intuitive to understand. I enjoyed inadvertently learning arpeggios via chord tones. This was a previous stumbling block for me. The practice lessons are not only effective but also very musical, keeping you engaged and inspired to keep learning. The teachers' enthusiasm is very infectious, making the learning experience enjoyable and motivating. I warmly recommend Pickup to anyone looking to get out of a rut and improve their guitar skills.

I'm now on grade 5 in the CAGED class and have been really trying to dig in to learn how the shapes, the pentatonic, and the major scale fit together. I'm starting to intuitively see things in songs that I never had before and understand why certain artists made the choices they did. I still need to put in a little more work to memorize all of the major scale across the fretboard by heart, but I'm confident I have the tools to do so.

I've been playing for 1 year and have tried multiple online and in-person programs. My schedule is erratic and the lack of structure has been frustrating. This program is excellent. There are many levels, so i never feel bored or overwhelmed. The technology is excellent and I can easily follow the video and the tabs. I'm a huge fan!

The CAGED system is both informative and enjoyable. Molly really explains the theory well and Kurt also chips in too. Great jams at the end of each Level to choose from. Loving it.

Really enjoying the process of going through the courses, well put together and structured in a way that even if you are time poor you can chip away at them. I've been playing for 20 years but never felt i've broken through the 'advanced intermediate' sort of stage so making a real effort now and already feeling PIckup is helping me connect the dots in ways i don't get from youtube tutorials.

The pickup music course is broken down to very understandable part and it is to the student pace and level of understanding. I wish all the time I spent trying to learn blues was straight to the point just like pickup music. I would have been a pro long time ago.
