As a fairly advanced player, with hundreds of gigs and a fair few records under my belt, I was tempted to dive straight into the latter stages of Daniel Donato's country course - but decided, instead, to go from the beginning. And I'm so glad I did. It's a beautifully constructed, and brilliantly taught course. It's reminded me of the essential building blocks, given me new ways of navigating the neck, added lots of riffs, and given me invaluable new ammunition in my country guitar armoury. Unlike other courses, which are often just a mixed bag of licks, Daniel reminds you why you are playing them, and how they fit together, giving you all the tools and knowledge you need to create your own solos. Every level has been a joy - the equivalent of personal lessons, and the Jams and (decent length!) backing tracks are invaluable. I'd heartily recommend the course to players of any level.

I'm on active military duty, a graduate student, and a single father. I have enjoyed music since elementary school and have dappled in recording and arranging. I picked up the guitar while on deployment and have enjoyed it ever since. I have my fair share of in-person instructors and guitar boot camps, but I would always seem to hit a plateau, and the lessons always became me watching the instructor in awe. I found out about Pickup Music through the various marketing ads on social media, and I thought I should try it. It was back to the basics at first, but now I'm midway through the intermediate guitar guitar and the bass for guitar players course. I love that when I'm in a rut, I can do a mini class or learn something new, and the weekly live sessions and a fantastic staff always willing to help are excellent for the low price of one lesson in person. Honestly, I have hesitated to post a feedback video, but I'm getting there.

Incredible start to the journey. Whilst challenging throughout, the approach of the beginners course gives you enough to make it feel like everytime you sit down with the guitar you progress. I've tried many times to learn and this is the first course thats held my attention. It took about 6 weeks to get through the beginners and I cant wait to start the next one. The videos are great, the feedback reviews are great. All in all, pickup music is great!

As a guitar player who has not played in quite some time. Pickup music has really helped me a lot. Lessons keep it fun as well as challenging to keep you engaged. Very well structured course, love the content.

Pickup Music is fantastic. I consider myself an intermediate player, but started off taking the CAGED pathway and also the Intermediate Pathway. The both of these has really opened up the guitar fretboard for me and elevated my playing. Lots of work to get to where I want to go, but I feel that I am progressing after hitting that "intermediate plateau"

The guided concept with pathways is amazing. Although I play guitar for almost 40 years I learned so much new stuff. I've never seen a course out there that has such a good pedagogical approach. It makes fun to learn with pickup music.

My experience with Pickup Music has been great - I just completed the CAGED I Pathway and found it a great way to really get back into playing guitar after 15 years or so without regular playing. I could always pickup a song from the tabs or play chord progressions but I feel like I have learned more in the last two months from the pathway than in many full years of playing and learning. In some ways, I think having the videos, infographics and different teachers may even be better for structure than an in person teacher. I’m very pleased with the service and am looking forward to the completing several of the masterclasses and Pathways

I have completed two learning pathways. I like the Pickup approach - it's structured and methodical and the tutors (Molly and Seth so far) are clear and sympathetic in their explanations. I feel a more competent and confident guitarist as a direct result of having followed these two pathways.
