As a long-time intermediate guitarist who has already played in many styles of music, I am self-taught for many years. Like many other guitarists, I explore my hobby through magazines, books and video courses. But none of it was really satisfactory. A few weeks ago I came across Pickup Music by chance. I saw a video about Neo Soul an landed on the Pickupmusic Website. The entire structure at Pickup Music immediately appealed to me. I signed up for a 14-day trial and off we went. After just a few days it was clear to me that I had finally landed where I had been looking for for a long time. The clear structure of the courses is perfect for me. Learning in well-portioned bites make learning “almost” daily for fun and I'll stick with it. Yesterday I got my first video feedback. Simply perfect. I am extremely satisfied and happy with my membership. It's nice to be part of this community. I am particularly impressed by the Pickup Music team, who are very friendly and helpful. This is a perfect platform for guitarists. Just try it.

So far, the jazz learning pathway has been really well structured. the lessons are succinct and clear, the material seems like the correct level of difficulty for someone wanting to jump into this, and even though I've spent a lot of time playing guitar, I'm learning so much!

The CAGED System is amazing! I learned fast about the roots, the pentatonic scale and I finally know where I am on the fretboard.

The Metal Guitar Learning Pathway is an excellent resource for anyone looking to dive into the world of metal guitar playing. well-structured approach, covered essential techniques like legato, palm muting, and alternate picking. so far, it’s been a fantastic pathway for learning metal guitar technique and enhanced my overall skills and creativity.

Pickup Music is worth every penny! I started Pickup Music a few months ago after a year and a half of complete self-teaching of finger style and open chord basics. I felt like my rhythm playing was bad, and I wanted to try to learn some other styles of guitar. Seeing that Pickup had a bunch of very structured courses with clear pathways to success made me give it a try. After a couple of months, I’m very confident in my decision to pick up (ha) Pickup Music for a year to really amp up my guitar abilities. I started with a grade of the Country music course, as a fan of Daniel Donato, but decided I needed to brush up on all of the beginner lessons to really flesh out my basic guitar skills before continuing. I tore through the Beginner grades (they were a little too easy), but Late Beginner has given me some appropriate challenges with Rhythm playing. It has been a blast learning the easy covers of songs and having someone go “Oh, is that (X Song)?” while just strumming along to an exercise is extremely gratifying. Makes you feel like a real guitar player.
