Pickup MusicReviews of pickupmusic.com

Awesome Platform with Great variety of classes, courses, genres, songs to learn... whatever you can think of. Not to mention the awesome support. The Best subscription guitar related education there is.

Pick up music has helped me a lot on improving my guitar playing. I was feeling stuck and I didn't know where to begin as there is so much online and I tend to get overwhelmed and not learning anything. Pick up music has the perfect system to get out of that rutt with the guided online lessons. I am just over half way through the caged program and it has already gave me better vision on the fret board, it has helped me learn to play in any key and I have picked up some cool licks.

I really appreciate the structured approach that Pickup provides. Other guitar lesson sites I’ve used might have lots of lessons, but it can feel random and overwhelming. I feel like I’ve built a good foundation settling into a journey with the learning pathways and building skills and knowledge systematically. I’ve also really appreciated the personalized feedback I’ve received on video performances – it’s been encouraging and useful for my practice. The online workshops are fun, too. So, I’d recommend Pickup if you’re into structured approaches to learning and developing your playing.

These pathways are well thought out. I've been playing for years and decided to join the intermediate pathway. While I'm 'ahead' in a lot of ways, I keep finding these pesky holes in my playing that I'm able to work on thanks to this pathway.

This experience is very comprehensive moving at a very practical pace. It’s broken up into digestible bite sized lessons that really help grasp the concepts. Something that seemed like rocket science to me prior now is starting to sink in

After scouring the internet in October 2023, I decided to give Pickup Music a go, and did the free trial. Once the trial was finished, I became a member, and will continue to be a member as My passion for learning the guitar has been re-ignited, and I am excited about learning and practicing. WHY? The customer service exceeds my expectation. The staff are so friendly, and send emails to make sure you are going ok with the course you are working on. You can drop an email to Pickup Music and ask questions. Get advice on what you should be working on, and you get personalized feedback on your work. Pickup music really do care about you, and your musical journey. The courses are fantastic. They are well thought out, and anticipate the needs of everyone. I enjoy Practicing the Guitar everyday. WHY? I enjoy Practicing because the lessons have me engaged from start to finish. I have a feeling of accomplishment and pride, and am making wonderful progress, which has me coming back for more. Try Pickup Music, and see for yourself. I can write this review, but, the feeling I have inside about my guitar is priceless to me. I never imagined getting the motivation and excitement back, and having progress like I do now.

This is the best guitar learning site I've ever tried (and I have tried a lot!). The interface is so user-friendly, the courses are well-structured, and even though I was a bit sad to start in the late-beginner pathway (I wanted to be in intermediate lol), it turned out to be well-suited to my learning stage. The pricing was a bit daunting at first but after learning about the structure, the range of classes they offer, the customer service, the ability to send videos to teachers and receive detailed feedback, and now having a personal experience of it, I can say it is so worth it! I have made so much progress in my playing in these 3 months that I have in the past year.

Thing thing I like most is they show you the notes to be played and where to put your fingers on the guitar and the lessons are so easy to follow
