Great lessons. Very clear directions. Never a doubt about what is next.

Made alot of progress with my lead playing and understanding. I like that they make sure to make videos that are really targeted towards understanding the fretboard, not just playing

Overall, a great course. A lot of the early material around pentatonics and techniques will feel like treading over old ground for experienced guitar players. I thought, given that there's an early quiz on this site to determine your playing level, that a course like this might assume that some students already know the basics of triads, double stops, and so on. I appreciate the depth of each topic, and Daniel does a great job at conveying his passion for country guitar. Similarly excellent was Daniel's ability to teach how to apply universal guitar concepts and techniques to the specifics of country guitar. Double stops, bends, and chromaticism show up in plenty of other styles, but Daniel does a great job of showing how they can be applied to country playing. I would sign up for a more advanced class in a heartbeat. My only complaint would be how much time is spent on, in my opinion, entry-level guitar theory: if you've been playing for more than a year, you should probably know your triads and pentatonic positions. Despite that, I really enjoyed this course, and would love to see a deeper dive into the finer points of country lead playing.

I love how the beginner course is integrated with fun activities and also few assignments have been given. Not too much content has been put to overwhelm the learners and jamming sessions are very fun and encouraging.

Having been out of guitar playing for over two decades, I was intimidated to start again. Pickup Music has made this an incredible experience. That fear was quickly put to rest. I'm truly enjoying playing again and I look forward to future experiences here. Thank you guys so much. I truly appreciate all you do.

I've been subscribing to Pickup Music about six months now. After trying several online guitar tuition sites I feel that Pickup Music is clearly the best. The instructors are very professional and the quality of the videos is high. The range of topic covered in the tutorials is vast. I have found their "pathways" is an excellent means of working out where you are at with your guitar journey, and where you need to go next to improve. There is something for guitar players of every level and in every genre of music in Pickup Music. Give it a try!
