I have ordered statuettes for several years and have had problems the last two years. Bases arrived in the wrong color, one base was cut incorrectly, orders taking longer than websites states it will. This year, the construction was changed to what I feel made a product of lesser quality for a slightly higher price. These issues, aside from price increase, were corrected but caused my delivery to my customer to be late. I

The quality of the picture itself on the statuette is HORRIBLE (faded, can see pixels, etc). The original picture is a professional pic, therefore, the resolution quality couldn't have been any better. Further, the cut out of the statuette was just as bad, my daughter's team hat was cut off so you can't see the team name, missing part of her shoe (toe) and one arm was cut smaller than the other. Being that it is personalized, they offer no refunds. I would give 0 stars if that was an option.

We always check photos first to see if it is large enough but if it was pixelated it must not have been high enough resolution. Please contact us.

Very unhappy with the statues I ordered. Ears, hair and hands were cut off the statues and when I contacted them about it, was told to ship my items back. What are they going to do with statues of my kids? Will not do business with them again.

Hi Elizabeth, I am very sorry to hear that you were disappointed in your statuettes. With certain images and certain angles, the outline of an image can get fairly close. The hands, however, shouldn't have been cut off in the manufacturing process unless they were not pictured in the image sent to us, in which case we are unable to add anything to an image. If you would like for us to redo them for you, it is an easy process that we can get underway if you send us an email with an image of the problem areas, simply so that we can understand where the issue was and where it needs to be improved. If that is something you are not interested in, we can issue a full refund to you, if that has not been done already. This was my review and I did receive an answer telling me to reply or call you; however, there is absolutely no way to reply or call. Exactly how would I be able to respond? Very frustrating! The facial features in my picture were too dark. It was not nearly as clear as the original picture that I had sent as an attachment. Also, the slick white backing did not look good; black would have been a much better choice, so I painted the back and edges black and it looked much better, except that the facial features were still too dark.

We typically try to brighten images about 20% for this reason, because shadows on an image can cause the subject of the photo to appear darker once the background has been cut away. Also, it sounds like you would have preferred the Silhouette Statuette that we offer.
