Sold Lens via Amazon Market Place as BRAND NEW but no Legitimate Nikon Warranty provided
Purchased a NIKKOR AF-P 70-300mm F/4.2-5.6 E ED VR Zoom Lens from Photo Savings via their Amazon 3rd part seller storefront which was described as NEW for $800+ ($300 more than the refurbished price). Lens arrived in new condition but the box labels and lack of any documentation suggested this is a Grey Market item. The delivery did not contain any USA WARRANTY card. Despite 2 requests and one from Amazon, Photosavings would not confirm/deny if the item is Grey Market. Requested price adjustment and/or 3rd party warranty. Photosavings offered a 3rd party generic product warranty, but it is not clear that the lens is covered for repairs, and if NIKON service will repair it. Be careful if buying from a 3rd party seller on Amazon and especially Photosavings, which this experience shows that they cannot be trusted. Also Amazon via A-Z help could not resolve this problem either.
