Amazingly useful App.
the app is amazing and the scanning process really straight forward. I have scanned a lot of Albums so far but not used the many processing options so far. You need to be careful if you want to produce individual digital albums that you save when finished so that you can start a new album or all of your ongoing pictures may continue in the existing album. Customer service has been really excellent and I feel confident that help will be available if I have problems with ongoing processing. 4 stars is only because I have yet to try out all of the processing tools.

Easy way to scan and upload old photos
Easy way to scan and upload old photos. Not clear how you get credits to use AI and would like to see an option to select all rather than having to click on every single photo

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad you're finding Photomyne easy to use. Just to clarify, you can purchase AI credits by going to your profile in the app. There's also a Select All option! Simply open an album, tap "Select," then tap the circle in the top-right corner to select all photos at once. Please make sure you're using the latest version of the app. These options are currently available on iOS only. We hope this helps!

It is a great product
It is a great product and it performs as advertised. A great way to digitize photos is a DIY way. Glare is the biggest problem, but that is the user problem not the product.

Photomyne helped me achieve my goal of preserving family photos & creating an archive to share
Photomyne helped me achieve my goal of scanning my photos of my parents, grandparents and great grandparents to preserve for future generations. Before I discovered it, I just had my flatbed scanner and boxes full of thousands of photos. With the help of this program, I preserved digitally almost 2500 photos! Eventually, Photomyne changed its policy and I was locked out of my photo library without a subscription. But that only seems fair. They make it easy for you to export all of your scans, so I can’t complain. I’d recommend this program to anyone.

All My Old Photos are Now Digital!
Photomyne was great for getting digital versions of about 5,000 old photos. I liked the options for adjusting how the photo looked and the ability to save the photos into Apple Photos when I was done.

Using Photomyne has been a game changer…
Using Photomyne has been a game changer for me. I write biographies for families, creating a coffee table book using all their best photos. Photomyne means I can scan photos on the spot without losing any image quality. Given I need hundreds of photos for each biography, Photomyne makes the collection of photos so much easier - as I said, ‘a game changer’. I just wish I could move the photos directly into the website I use to create the coffee table books, rather than transferring the photos to my photo library first.

I love Photomyne!
I love Photomyne! I have finally found a way to keep photos so that they are readily available and easy to store. The app allows me to make albums and to caption individual photos. I personally find transferring the photos to Google Photos less than perfect but I strongly suspect that is because I need to take the time to learn how to do it properly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Photomyne!

Fix color shift
I am very pleased overall with Photmyne, however there does seem to be a color shift that I cannot fix in photoshop. I make handmade watercolor cards, and use Photomyne to catalog them, but I would love for the colors to be accurate.

The app automatically adjusts colors to enhance old photos, but for artwork like your watercolor cards, you can turn off the automatic color correction in the app settings.
