The webinar was deceiving about the interest and wasn't made clear about if it was yearly or monthly. I was not happy with the unknown before I joined. I lost money because I withdrew early because of the deceit. I thought I was buying into oil and gas stock.
Response from Phoenix Energy One, LLCJun 8, 2026
Hi Myra,
We’re sorry to hear that you felt the webinar was unclear and that you were disappointed with your experience. Transparency is very important to us, and we take concerns like this seriously.
The webinar you referenced, available at phoenixenergy.com/webinar, is focused on Phoenix Energy’s corporate bond offerings rather than oil and gas stocks. We do not offer a presentation about oil and gas stocks. During the webinar, our team explains how the bond offering works, including how interest is paid and the associated risks. Early withdrawal fees are also outlined in the offering documents provided to investors.
That said, we regret that you felt uncertain before making your decision. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you directly, review your concerns, and better understand your experience. Please contact our Client Relations team directly so we can look into this further and discuss your situation one-on-one.

Beware don’t waste your time and money
Biggest mistake I’ve made with my finances. I was looking to invest sent my money in, in October and it was never invested. The claims were waiting for an opening to place my money into an IRA. They touch base with me from time to time to reassure me as soon as there was an opening they would be placing my money in a IRA the account. Still a bit confused about what that means. A total waste of time and money. I lost so much interest on my would’ve been $20,000 investment. Finally after six months of waiting I moved my money to a different IRA account. I’m just sorry I actually trusted them.

Thank you for sharing your experience, Hallima. It was a pleasure speaking with you this week. We share your frustrations and want to express our gratitude for keeping the lines of communication open with us. To clarify the situation regarding the delay in investing your funds, our Regulation A+ bond for non-accredited investors has periodic availability. Availability is qualified by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Since this is a compliance review done by the SEC, we can only wait patiently for them to complete it. Unfortunately, the SEC does not provide specific dates until everything is reviewed and marked satisfactory. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused and appreciate your patience and understanding during this regulatory process. Our hope is to have our Regulation A+ offering available again soon. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you!

I've read all the wonderful reviews
I've read all the wonderful reviews. But I would not invest with them. They have purchase land and mineral rights with people who have invested with them. The funds are not back by any FDIC. So they are paying you back with your own money using a junk bond strategy. Has anyone ask the question what happens if the business fails ? Remember it is a family business. The owners will make sure that they will always land on their feet.
Response from Phoenix Energy One, LLCFeb 23, 2024
Hi Norman, the FDIC protects depositors of insured banks and we are not a bank. To add, “Junk bond” is a term coined in the Mike Milken era to denote the credit ratings of listed bonds that fall below CCC. We are an alternative investment and not technically in the same asset class as junk bonds. All investments carry a measure of risk. Our disclosures are very clear and can be found in our investment documentation. Now that our lawyers are happy, we’ll say this: to date, we have always been able to service our monthly interest payments and to repay the principle owed to our investors. Further, the company tries to mitigate risk by doing the following:
1. Hedging our Oil and Gas portfolio to withstand market fluctuations.
2. Employing a rigorous underwriting process that ensures that we are investing in profitable assets.
3. Maintaining an estimated reserve value that is well in excess of the liabilities carried on our balance sheet.
It’s important to note that, as with ANY investment, past performance is not indicative of future results. If you would like to learn more about our portfolio, investment strategy, and how we structure our business, we’d love to have you join one of our in-depth webinars.
Regarding your concern about the potential failure of our business, we assure you that we take risk management seriously. While no investment is entirely without risk, we have contingency plans in place to protect our investors' interests to the best of our ability. Furthermore, as a family-owned business, we have a vested interest in maintaining our reputation and ensuring the success of our endeavors. Our commitment to transparency and integrity remains unwavering.
We understand the importance of trust and accountability in the investment industry, and we strive to uphold these values in every aspect of our business.
If you have any further questions or would like to discuss your concerns in more detail, our Capital Markets team would be more than happy to discuss further with you. You can give us a by call at (303) 376-9778, press 1, and then press 2. Thank you

I have had used great and reputable…
I have had used great and reputable CannaEats. But here I Honestly feel lied to. Even though the wording in their statements is correct, 9% APY, I think they could do a better job of stating it is 0.75% per month. And including this information in their sales tatics' statements.

Misleading ads for 9% APY offerings
YouTube ads advertise a 9% annual return with a minimum investment of only $5000, but on the website it suddenly says:
"We apologize but we are currently in the process of an update to the offering statement for the 9% Regulation A bond offering.
This is a standard process required of all Regulation A issuers with offerings which continue for more than twelve months.
During this period, we can provide information about the offering, but we may not accept subscriptions until after. You can indicate your interest in investing, and we will be happy to follow up once complete."
Currently all offerings require at least a 100k investment. I think it's misleading to leave these ads running while the service isn't available.

Thank you for the comments and we apologize for any confusion. We take customer service very seriously as evidenced by the other reviews and investor experiences with our firm. Each year, pursuant to SEC regulations, we have to pause the offerings on their anniversary date. This is a 1-2 week period of time that is required by the regulatory agencies, but the offering isn't going anywhere and will be back up in our portal within a week. I am unsure why this merits a 1-star review as there is no material impact to anyone as a result of this delay. Investors that participate once it's back live will get the full month of interest so there is no detrimental impact. Again, we apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding and Happy New Year. Best, Matt
