A Mixed Bag of Likes/Dislikes
In the plus column, I like Taos mugs because the black interior doesn't build up noticeable stains that require baking soda scrubs each time I drink coffee or tea. It is hard to find dark liners like these cups have. In the minus column, Pfaltzgraff needs to find better packing methods. Three of the cups arrived cracked or broken. Yet, the company promptly credited my credit card after I sent a photo of the damaged items. I was disappointed that, with their faint greenish cast, the color doesn't blend very well with my plates, which are beige and brown. But the most serious problem for me is the cup's overall design. With the increasing width from base to rim, my drink cools markedly in comparison with my taller mugs that have straight sides. I find myself continually visiting the microwave between sips, but at least no inner stains require scrubbing after each use!
