I am one of those people who unfortunately need to make the same mistake a few times before it sinks in, and after going through this hell twice now with PetSmart I can safely say I have finally learned my lesson NEVER place an online order through PetSmart, ESPECIALLY if it's really important/prescription items and you need it sometime in the next month or two. The last two times I have placed a prescription order through PetSmart online it has taken nearly two full weeks JUST to verify the damn prescription through my vet and then another solid week before it ships, and then another week for transit. I also had to call them multiple times and each time I did they had no history of my numerous previous calls and just kept telling me to wait for it to ship and be patient. Their online ordering system is a complete joke and a profound waste of your time and money. Oh, and there's no returns online or cancellations so if waiting three weeks for your pet's prescription isn't working for you too bad - you have to buy it again through another site, wait for the PetSmart order to get to you through the Pony Express and then return it in person at a local store. They should shut down their online ordering completely. DON'T DO IT!

I placed an online order for store pickup on 8/27/22. I called the store to verify if my order was ready and was told they did not have the order on file. I went to the store and picked up the items I needed. I received an email today, 9/08/22, that my order was ready. LOL!! What a joke! I will be moving to another pet store.

Placed an online order on aug. 25th and heard nothing… status … processing…. Then i called customer service and the woman said, “hopefully, it will ship soon…” So I opted to cancel the order and she sent me to customer care where she kept me on hold listening to crappy music for another ten minutes to cancel an order that would “hopefully ship soon.”

I was not aware that groomers were allowed to give pets a sedative! Appointment for my dog was noon! I arrived at 12:45 to meet my wife, expecting my dog to be groomed! No dog, no wife, only one girl inside grooming jail on her cellphone! I called my wife, she informs me he won't be done till 3pm. My dog is not done till 3:50. When he gets home, he gets locked in an open garage! He thinks he should be happy to see me, but he needs to drink water out of every bowl he see's! My dog is on dope! I am pissed off at you people!

I have been a customer since Petsmart opened in Santa Maria, CA. I have always used the same bank checks, with no problem. Yesterday, my check was rejected - no reason given. Finally, a supervisor told me to call 800-738-1385, Ext 2518, to get an explanation. When I was finally able to speak with someone, I was told that a reason could be given for a credit card but not for a check. This is unacceptable. The good news is that there is now a Petco in town. Plus, there is always Amazon. I will NEVER buy anyone from Petsmart again. Keep this up, and no one will.

I had an appointment for pet grooming and have record and receipt to show my pet has his rabies shot - just that the exp date is not listed. All pet owners know a puppy only get his rabies shot for a year validity and subsequenty 3-5 years. Just because there is no exp date on my receipt or records, Petsmart in N. Dallas (3300 N Centrla Exprwy, Plano to be exact, refused grooming for my pet. Staff said Company policy that they must have an exp date. You would think to protect their staff, Petsmart would make sure they (the humans) also have rabies shot to protect them. Rabies shots for humans are not cheap but looks like Petsmart is cheap for not making sure their staff are protected as well. Needless to say, I will not go to Petsmart anymore.
