After taking my Huskies to the Petsmart in Royal Palm Beach, FL since 2009, they refused to take my new Husky puppy because of matted hair; instead they send me to a mobile groomer! Don’t they call themselves groomers? Also, my black & white Husky has one black nail that is never touch by them, their answer is: she didn’t let us do it, are they professionals or not. They lost me as a customer and I used to pay a lot with the furminator treatment, now I have a better groomer that’s does the black nails and everything else. I would not recommend Petsmart at all, a few times I found someone that cares about the dogs but they transferred her to a different store.
Petsmart, should hire real groomers and people that cares for our dogs or cats.

Tried to auto-ship thru app
Tried to auto-ship thru app. Address never updated. Called customer service 3 times said they would handle it. It was shipped to the wrong address. I had to call again for a refund and to reship my dog's prescription food. Never offered anything but a insincere apology. I will be finding another pet supplier. They lost my business. When traveling for a family emergency dog food should not be a worry. Especially bc I did everything I was suppose to do!

PetSmart no longer deals with Québec - but does not mention the outcome of our points at all.
On Friday, March 17th 2023, all (now former) PetSmart customers living in Quebec received an e-mail from PetSmart telling us that immediately, all their business done with Québec had ended (Although the e-mail does not mention this, it is due to the difference between the province of Québec's laws versus the rest of Canada's laws). This difference started over 35 years ago, PetSmart is learning about it just....now?
But the e-mail does not mention at all the accumulated points. Lost ? It is our money after all .
PetSmart has its employees tell us / write to us to go to another province in order to redeem our points ! Will they be paying for the gazoline and the hotels rooms to do so ?
The Québec bill number 187.9 is very clear about it.
LPC 187.9 - Unilateral modification

b) that the loyalty program merchant must, within the time
By regulation, transmit to the consumer a written opinion, written
clearly and readably, exclusively containing the new clause or

1- To star with, PetSmart - like any other companies - upon stopping business with others, on a particular territory or else is obliged to give its customers a certain / given period of time to use the accumulated points or to reimburse them with money payments (cheques or money orders made in the name of the given company (in this case PetSmart).
2- The fact that they do not mention the points at all in their email is illegal.
Here is the email that was sent out to all (now former) Québec customers yesterday. I blanked out the phone number given by them.
Friday, March 17th 2023.

To solve this matter, like I did, customers from Québec who wish to be reimbursed - in dollars - for the points accumulated must contact the Office de la Protection du Consommateur du Québec.
UPDATE - CASE SOLVED
They did reimburse me the total amount of what my points were, so $60 CAD, plus the $12.27 that it had cost me to send them a formal complaint (via the Government of Quebec - Office de la Protection du Consommateur du Québec). It was settles out of court - their lawyer is the one who got me the payment, for which I'm very grateful. I got a cheque as I had requested with the amount that I also had requested.

I'd give a 0 if I could but one is…
I'd give a 0 if I could but one is about as low as I can go. Groomers are rude, and this is the 1 in Maryland. I applied for a job for the hotel and didn't get it because corporate didn't like my answers on the personality quiz. It all came back as being quite positive because I got a copy of it And yet that is why I didn't get hired. Apparently I didn't answer it to their liking I'm an animal rights advocate and I have rescued numerous animals including wildlife and I have had to feed them and nurse them back to health and yet I can't get a job in a hotel taking care of dogs and cats and birds and what not. That is so ridiculous I've been in the medical field for many years that never had to take a test like that to get a job And that to me would make more sense. I understand that they want someone that's caring about animals but that's why they interview you and that's why you have a 30 to 90 day probationary.. I don't understand how people can complain about not having anyone to work for them but then when someone comes along it is in love with animals can't even get a job working in a pet hotel because the corporate office doesn't like your personality test that is pathetic. Mine came back very positive as I mentioned I will never shop here again this is wrong I hope you people don't Need help because as many bad reviews as you're getting I'm surprised you're even still open. You need to read your reviews and do something about it

Horrible company that sells live…
Horrible company that sells live animals that are confined in large numbers to small enclosures...Also, their grooming service is beyond awful, as the animals are often not treated well during grooming and a significant have died during or shortly after grooming...Avoid this pet supplier and grooming service company if you care about animals...

Unhappy fed up customer
Been a customer for almost 2 years at the fayetteville location. Minnie was very good but she left.Give instructions to other groomers on what I want and they seem to ignore me and groom my yorkie how they want. Need to get people who listen and follow a customer request since were paying.
