I have been a customer since October 2022, when I got my puppy. I took him there for grooming a couple of times and it was ‘ok’. Then I brought him in and they said they would have to shave him due to mats. He gets matted very easily. I took him home determined to brush out the mats. I finally took him back and said I couldn’t get the mats out, I have an injured hand and it was too difficult for me. Never again. They traumatized my puppy and me. They shaved him down to his skin. I almost cried when I saw him. He couldn’t eat and couldn’t stop shaking. He will hardly venture from my lap. No way will I ever take him back there. And to add insult to injury, they charged me $65 to traumatize my baby. It’s been days and he he still so jittery and crying all the time. Shame on you Petsmart!! You won’t get another chance at my baby boy.

If you are looking to pay a boat load of money for pet supplies…then this is the store for you. I went here to buy a tennis ball for our dog. What this business charges for (1) tennis ball…you can buy a (6) pack of balls somewhere else !!!!

Ran in for a quick purchase. Couldn’t find it. Ask a guy who was just standing there. He said “Sure Follow me “ he ran into people he knew, stopped and visited with them for 5 minutes. I finally ask what isle it was on, he pointed. I told him I couldn’t find it, he said “You know I in a dog training class, I was nice enough to show you what isle.” No one in the Albuquerque store on Academy is helpful, courteous, or knowledgeable!

abusing the birds first of all birds having to much milet is bad for birds bad food and water clean them more often those seed you keep feeding is bed do some fresh fruit or vegetables to them some pellets.

I took my dog for grooming. Charged me $145 rather than the $100 for bath and haircut, but the worst part is they shaved so close to my dogs privates, making him red and raw. Had to call my vet, and then run out and buy e collar. Dog is really suffering. Told me not to bring him back because he couldn't stand up for that long.

I ordered dog food and fortiflora to be shipped to my PO Box in Alaska on 3/29. It was shipped on 4/1 in two separate shipments and I was provided with two USPS tracking numbers. When I tried to track the package no information was available. On 4/3 I called PetSmart and was told that the shipping is FedEx/USPS and that no tracking information is available until the package is transferred to USPS. It is now 4/22 and still no packages and no tracking information. I called PetSmart to find out that there is nothing that can be done except to reship the items the same lame unworkable method ( FedEx ground to USPS). How far does the shipment go on the ground? All the way to Alaska? With no way to track the FedEx portion of the shipment there is no way to know where or when something goes astray. The customer service rep Trevor was very apologetic, which is polite, but does not provide help. I spoke to a supervisor, Trish who attempted to reorder and expedite a replacement, but after a brief hold said she could not do it. She filed a request for refund as PetSmart cannot seem to reliably ship dog food to a private address

it makes me really sad to go in there and see how small all the enclosures for the animals are. 6 guinea pigs to one small glass fish tank is not ok. treat your animals better please, it’s so depressing to see. they didn’t do anything to deserve that.

Whatever you do, never get your pet groomed here. They quoted me 70 and charged me 90, for a 4 lb dog with 1-inch long hair. Upon inspecting the cut it was so half-assed, some parts were totally missed. Never again. The staff is trained to call out how the dog is half the size now etc....as you walk through the store, what a load of bull.
