I am a firm believer that some people should not work in customer service if they don’t care for people. The guy who helped me was friendly but you could tell that the girl at the register would rather not be. She was unfriendly and gave off the vibe that she was bothered. Another employee was standing near by. As a male customer started to walk toward that employee standing close, she told him “here that man comes to ask 25 more questions, you better run”. Her tone when she said it was flat out rude!! I frequent this Petsmart a lot because it is so close to my house but if I can get the products I need for my dog elsewhere, I will.

This is for the location in Alamo Ranch. The beta fish wall was terrible! The betas are in the small containers as it is but to have them only half way filled with water I think is torture to them

Let me begin by saying my Bailey's cut was okay; however, the customer service at the Waynesville, NC store was horrible. This was the second time I took Bailey to be groomed there. Our first experience was excellent and we were both excited we had finally found a good groomer. Unfortunately, I received a call 4 days before her appointment and was told I would have to change the appointment because the groomer had a family emergency. I did not have a problem with that and attempted to reschedule with the same groomer. That wasn't going to be possible because she had nothing for more than 3 weeks so I scheduled with a different groomer. Whe. I arrived 5 minutes early, they asked me to go back into the store because the groomer hadn't arrived yet. When I was finally greeted by someone they asked the typical questions and then specifically addressed Bailey's tail (she is a pom with lots of floof!). I replied that I wanted her tail to be cut down to match her puppy cut, not be left floofy. I was then asked about the best number to reach me. They had my landline in the system bc that is how I set up my PetSmart account but I live over an hour from the store and would not be going home while waiting for Bailey. The check in person wrote my cell number at the top of the intake sheet and circled the number. The groomer came and got Bailey and said it would be 3 to 4 hours. I waited 4.5 hours and finally went into the store to check on Bailey. I was told by the groomer, in a very sparky tone, "She was done 2 hours ago and I left a msg on your phone." I immediately checked my cell and there was no msg. While she continued to work on the dog she was working on, another worker went and got the intake form and showed it to the groomer. She replied with a shrug, "I didn't see that." (Again, heavy on the snark) There was no apology and no indication that it was a problem. When they finally brought Bailey to me her tail had not been cut down and I still had to pay $68. During this exchange the other groomers were rolling their eyes bc I was clearly not happy. I feel there was a lack of communication between the person doing the intake and the groomers. However, the attitude and rudeness of the groomers will prevent me from ever going back to that store or any other PetSmart. I'm done.

I asked for help looking for some rabbit food the employee told me that the store didn't have any, so started looking for my self and found it. Then I when to the cashier to pay for it and the cashier was ruled I wanted to hit him but I just paid for my purchase and left.

So sad to see dead fish at the Orillia pet smart every time I go in. Today I tried to rescue a very stressed goldfish...at first they wouldn't sell it to me because they were going to treat him..but then the other manager let me buy this sweet goldfish that had been there a very long time and I got it for half price. Would have paid full price just to give him a chance. The very young girl who was so concerned over him and happy to give him to me abruptly dumped this weak goldfish with such force into a bag that it hit the bottom and summersaulted many times! I was horrified and said something....It happened so fast! I explained how damaging that was to an already stressed fish. Her response was....oh well. My little guy died minutes after in the car ride home. He didn't even have a chance. This is twice I've had a staff member throw a fish into a bag and die on me within the same day. All these fish are already starved throughout their time in these tanks. This is cruelty. Shame on you for not at least teaching your staff how to handle these beautiful creatures.

Employees need to read the petsmart return policy on opened food returns- before giving me hogwash on it.. Miles should re-read the policy. Julie Belval- Arden, NC
