Took my long haired shepherd to get a bath and her toe nails clipped, they called me and said she will be ready in 15 minutes and that was the end of that call, my husband got there to pick her up and found she was bleeding pretty bad on her paw pad asked what happen and nobody had an answer they didn’t know, manger came and refunded us our money and asked if they clipped her nails cause he thought maybe they clipped one to short and that’s where the blood maybe coming from and we said they were supposed to but didn’t and as he’s looking he said you can clearly see they didn’t. He was very apologetic and trying himself to find out where she is bleeding from, at this point the vets are closed we had to take her to the ER and found out her paw pad was cut open and we believe it happen when she was trimming her hair around her feet.They knew she was hurt and never once called or even let us know when we arrived!

This is how pet smart lies, they tell you that you don’t need an appointment to have your dog groomed but when you show up without an appointment you will not receive service and told that you need an appointment. Company lies. Stay as far away from pet smart as you can, if they lie to the human how are they going to treat your pet. Their website clearly states no appointment is required in more than one location.

Placed an order for blood thinners for my cat 9 days ago.. It's still in Fresno CA, I'm in TX.

They need to keep there adoption centers cleaner for there animals and make there employees give as much attention to the cats and kittens in the adoption center as they do the rest of the store. But stocking and facing seems to take priority to the living breathing animals in there adoption centers

On February 2, 2024 I made one of the most difficult decisions of my life and put my cat to sleep eternally. When I went to cancel my Banfield Optimum Wellness Plan (OWP), the company charged me $440 to cancel the account. I was never told that I would owe a balance if I ever had to cancel in the event of my pet's death - and I am already facing a huge debt of bills from the Banfield Pet Hospital system that weren't covered by the OWP. The PetSmart/ Banfield company advertises this plan as something that saves their customers money, but that is not the case at all. I paid $600 a year into this plan which claimed to cover all of my cat's preventative care and would discount any further care. The only time I ever used the full $600 that I paid this company annually was this past year, when I had the most traumatic and horrific week of my life. Despite the fact that I paid them more than the services cost annually for 8 years, the Banfield/ PetSmart company claimed that any unused funds from prior years were ineligible for use in the current year to cover Dobby's care. This company does not care about saving you money and ensuring that your pets get the preventative care they need, they are preying on customers who cannot/ do not use all the funds paid in a calendar year. This review and claim is solely regarding Banfield as a company and their misleading pet-care savings plan - the Optimum Wellness Plan (including all the different OWP versions).

Had my Maltese in for grooming at the Holmdel store it is the worst grooming I’ve had since owning my dog they destroyed his face can’t even tell what kind of dog it is I will never go back or ever recommend anyone go there

adopted a cat 2 years ago for 250 and they didn’t tell me that he had a born condition where he could only live for 3 years yay my cats dead

Placed my monthly order for cat food. There is always something out of stock that needs to be shipped and I not only got charged for the case to be shipped, but then it was shown to be sent in 3 different shipments. One sent me 7 cans, another came with 5 cans , all damaged and the wrong food and the other 12 never arrived. Yet 11 days ago I was charged in full for the total order. Service at store also downhill. They either short the order, can’t find it when we go pick it up or never have the stock they say they do when you order.
